Apart from parlays, I had three big singles: Liverpool WIN HT (won, phew!) at 18/10, Liverpool Over 1.5 goals at HT at 2/1 (won) and Liverpool handicap -1.5... so need 2 more goals to score heh.

Not to mention a couple more parlays, AND one special that needs Mane and Bobby to net (and oh Mane almost did damn).

Such a champage 47 minutes! And very weird ones right now... 15 mins left...

Didn't watched first half of LFC - Leeds game and I  missed a lot... What a crazy game. I really like Bielsa as a coach and I'm sure that Leeds is here to stay in EPL and not relegate just after one season.
And it's a bit to strange to see such long table with 48 participants. Seems that our pool is going to be very competetive. And I see a lot of unfamiliar names. So, good luck for everyone!

Leeds 1st time behind, equalized

and 4th time behind but this time they did not have much time. Liverpool won!
But who would have thought the match will end up like this? I don't think anyone in any corner of the world expected Leeds to score 3 goals against the top team of EPL, against the defending champion. Leeds are here to prove something in this season for sure.

I really did not want that happen but coincidentally we had a goal at 65th minute instead of 55th and it was Leeds and indeed it was stressful to watch 3 - 3 until the penalty taken by Salah. Good start for Salah with 3 goals in the season from the first match.

I too have few bets which I would lose if Liverpool ended up with a draw. Good to see that we won the match. It was not easy! phew!!!

Even though Liverpool won in this first match and with Salah's hat trick, I'm not sure Liverpool will be a tough contender for Manchester City until the end of the season. Whether it's because Leeds may be at their best or not, a defending champion like Liverpool shouldn't be a tough match in this first game against a promoted team.

Great game between Liverpool and Leeds for us the viewers, I guess managers are rather pissed when their teams concede this many goals.

Don't know if all the channels get the same feed and graphic during the broadcast. I will assume they do. Did you guys seen that awful presentation of starting line ups? It looks like somebody deliberately went out of his way to come with most hideous and confusing way of displaying them. Don't know why the persons in charge feel like they have to change something and then they change something that works perfectly and turn it in total bullshit. Very disappointed, I was always looking forward to starting line ups and now I check them on PC.

Yep, you top the leaderboard for now and you were the only one that got 2 times exact score out of 4 games. I was so close to snatch 3 points from newcastle's match as I was the only one guessing 0-1 for the game. They had to disappoint me on 87th minutes with another goal .



Most got points from 3 matches out of 4 matches ( either exact, close or result ) while Rifmax and Big G got points from all 4 matches for the day

Nobody and I mean NOBODY saw Leeds scoring 3 goals let alone almost setting up a draw only if Salah didn't score that penalty thus allowing him to complete his hat trick.
So we going to call him Mo-Pensalah for the rest of the season?

I missed watching this game due to some technical issues I had with a small project of mine being the weekend and all.

Was surprised to see I'm on top of the leaderboard after day one.
If Liverpool had just kept to the script and kept the scoreline 3-1 (I tuned in when it was 3-2) I would of been over the moon with today's result after my first time participating in the EPL pool hosted by Sportbet.io.

Bielsa is a good manager.  Leeds is the promoted club to watch this season imo.  And I fancy Bielsa could manage a top side in a couple of years.  United, Chelsea, Barca and Juve are prolly closely monitoring him.

i think it's really scary that i'm now also at the top of the table in the english pool game - but there are only a few games played and the season is still long

If anyone wants to still join it's not too late as you've only missed 4 games and I only got 2 points total from them. I think even if you join now you might still get some points from the games already played as you get 15 'automatic' deferred scores during the season if you miss a game which they pick the favourite score on average for you. If you've made your picks in another league and you join ours I think they get carried over as well. Not 100% but maybe someone can check. We have 48 users so far so it would be nice to try get it to 50.

Bielsa is a good manager.  Leeds is the promoted club to watch this season imo.  And I fancy Bielsa could manage a top side in a couple of years.  United, Chelsea, Barca and Juve are prolly closely monitoring him.

If he does well with Leeds I'm sure a bigger club will snap him up at some point, but he's picky about who he manages and likes to get his own way. I'd like to see him stay with Leeds for a while and see what he can do with them. I really wasn't expecting them to play as well as they did. They did excellently. I thought they would be outclassed and embarrassed at every opportunity but they gave as good as they got and they deserved a point from that match. Shame about the penalties. If they play like that all season then they will easily finish top ten. Not sure if they can keep that up though. City game at home in a few weeks should be interesting.

I don't know if a few rounds would be enough. The situation might change radically after them due to the quantity of the rounds, I think. It would make sense if it doesn't, of course, because if people are good at predictions, they'll keep being good, whereas those who are bad will be bad, but maybe it's not how this works.
Meanwhile, congrats to rdbase for making it to the top of the board after the first day! It's a fantastic start!

Yeah, I'm very surprised with Leeds! Almost everyone got a point for the result there, but nobody's score was even close to the real one!

JanpriX, I got 2.5 which is also not great, but this was only one day of games, so there's plenty of time to get it right and move up to the top of the leaderboard

Most of us ended up getting 1 point for the Liverpool game (who saw THAT coming) and then 1.5 for a close score. I'm a bit upset with myself I didn't get at least 1 exact one, but we go again today.

Regarding the automatic scores (when you forget), I think it works for all the pools. I remember playing in 2 pools last season on the same account and they got picked auto in all the pools. But yeah, maybe someone can confirm this.

Fulham were really bad I agree, that's the lottery of the Championship playoff you sometimes get shit.

I know what about you're talking. I also didn't liked new graphics. Old quad presentation was simple, but good. But I guess they didn't wanted to use same graphics for 4 or 5 seasons and tried to make something news. All international channels get same image which is called World Feed, while English channels using their own graphics.
Personally, I like how they present squads in La Liga. They are showing virtual players on the pitch in their positions literally.

Phew guys, phew. rdbase must be feeling pretty good sitting there pretty eh? Lost 1 and won 2 of my big bets, I definitely won't be doing that so soon now but I think Klopp knew he would be in for torrid time with Leeds the unknown factor and them being as equally crazy on the pressing. Liverpool high line as usual but Gomez and VVD simply not being able to keep their lines steady so we kept getting 3/4 vs 2 in the box!

I paid dearly for picking Fulham to beat Arsenal, but am surprised there were THREE other guys picking Fulham or the draw haha. Looks like I have many more companions this season for those foolish picks;)

So far, last season's lesson of just keeping mainly with favourites and simply getting the scoring right is working out!
