Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

DircetBet NHL live betting at the end of the 1st period Chi/Stl. 3-2 Chicago right now.

Chi -417
Stl +166

If this is your live betting odds on a game, then you don't have live betting on the game.

Today I started using CloudBet. I will post here if I experience something strange. So long it's been my favourite website for betting (from design perspective).

If you have money in coinbet, you may want to ask for small withdrawals at this time. Small withdrawals may be automated while the bigger ones are reviewed.

Coinbet was able to put a muzzle on players because of their rules. They were able to sneak up on us players because of this. In the future if a book puts in a rule where they can confiscate funds due to negative press, they will be rated "F".

I don't think they are automated. I had to email them a couple times before they processed a small $30 payout. That process took 3 days just for $30.

Great thread! This should prevent people from getting scammed by shady books like coinbet. I was actually thinking of trying them out too until I found this thread and BitcoinzRulez's story.

BitcoinzRulez, sorry for your loss. Thanks for warning the community!

Shut up how can u make jokes right now? Your greed is now affecting other people, now because of what u did myself and im sure others might have issues getting paid. What do u think a new book that has been out for 2 months is ready to give out that kind of money? Why would u want to have that kind of money in a start up book and also bitcoin book? Only an idiot as greedy as yourself would do such a bold, dumb move. Don't u know they have Pinnacle or other top notch books to take that kind of action, that will pay u when u win like this? I'm not making an excuse for this book but what do u think would happen given what u won?
I mean I could of got greedy and max deposited for the full 10k and got the full bonus but im not greedy and only deposited some to get a bonus. Now because of 1 fool I have to figure out if it is even worth it to try and arb out my money that is in here $1600. I have been around many different forums for years and have heard so many stories from posters around but BItcoinzRulez is definately the dumbest poster I have ever come across. Seriously who the hell can help u get that kind of money from a startup book? 340k LOL this has to be a joke...

So wait, a players expectation is they should only get paid if they win very little?  If a book lets you bet this much they have to be able to cover it.  are you a gambling retard?  you think a casino [should] take bets if they cant afford to pay the winner?  there's a reason blackjack tables have limits and casinos have to have enough cash on hand to cover all the chips on the floor.

wow, never seen such ignorance.  its called liquidity, if they cant cover bets they cant allow people to place them.  i'm not at fault here for winning.  thats' just silly.

and to be crystal clear, apparently people with MUCH less money were already having trouble getting paid.  seems like they were never a legit book.  there's a reason that my post has stirred a response from others using and having issues with coinbet.

i dont want to start trouble in this thread so if you want to continue this conversation pleases move over to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=576109.msg6295918#msg6295918

Dude do u hear yourself? Your the idiot who would think to trust that kind of money in a bitcoin book. Don't come blaming me because your to stupid to realize this. If u want players expectation and what crap loyalty for players then why are u here? Go to SBR and pick one of there A rated books if u want this u stupid idiot.
Yes u are definitely now the dumbest poster I have ever come across.

Please post complaints if you are having problems dealing with a book on your own. Try on your own first but don't wait too long. Balances are high at Coinbet and they are stiffing multiple players. If a book doesn't pay or slow pays one person, they will be downgraded.

It has come to our attention that players are having problems with a bitcoin casino called CoinBet.cc, according to threads on BitcoinTalk.org

We will not be linking to them in this post, because we do not want to send an alleged scam site any traffic. However, in the spirit of full disclosure, CoinBet has previously advertised on this site, and paid for promotional posts on our feeds on reddit and other sites, but it is now our recommendation that players avoid depositing on CoinBet for the time being. We prefer not to jump to conclusions or put an advertiser on blast like this, but it’s not looking good for them right now.

UPDATE: It has now come to our attention that on the date of one of our recent press releases, one of Coinbet’s players “coincidentally” received an email from a Coinbet executive that just so happens to have the same name of BitcoinSource’s CTO. It’s not clear at this time whether they actually have someone on staff with the same name, or if they just lifted the name directly out of our press release to lend legitimacy to their scam (the latter seems much more likely), but we are investigating either way and will post if we find more info. BitcoinSource has no affiliation with Coinbet, other than the fact that they purchased paid advertising on our news portal and feeds.

We highly recommend that the bitcoin community avoid Coinbet like the plague, and withdraw any funds deposited there immediately.

If anyone from Coinbet, or any one else with any info, would like to contact us with any information that could help in our investigation, please do so using the contact us page on this site. We would especially like to hear from John Bauer, the apparent owner of Coinbet and VP of operations, but we will not be holding our breath.
