New to mining in general and generally mining on BTCGuild but thought I'd give this place a go... Running same setup but literally getting 100% rejects whereas on the above pool getting almost 0% I'd like to try this site a bit more but cant justify leaving my 30Gh/s @ 100% loss. tried the eu and the us stratums... same thing... If you're mining on BTCGuild, that means you are mining Bitcoin on the SHA-256 Algorithm. 30Gh/s would be like a Rockminer, or a BFL. ASICs can only mine on one algorithm only. Bitcoin (SHA-256) ASICs are for Bitcoin and other SHA-256 coins only. This is a scrypt pool, for coins such as Litecoin or Dogecoin. ahhh.... that makes sense.... 'told you I was a noob in that case... many thanks... I'll stick with what I got.

First, your AMD 6850 won't make any bitcoins at all, so give up on that. If you still want to try, you need to use better stuff like cgminer or sgminer. Hi Terk.

That 0.03 doesn't exist. It's a ghost amount, ignore it. I'm too tired of explaining.

Hello, First of all i am new on mining bitcoin so be indulgent ^^. I have spend 1 night of mining last nigth (13PcrgreweyG7gJaVFqa9V65iVuxfNoUQF) and i have discovered this morning that all i have is rejected block. Cgwatcher shown 35 found blocks with an average of 300 Mh/s. Why theses results? HD5750 X2 (crossfire) Windows 7 pro legit updated Latest non beta catalyst drivers Latest non beta AMD SDK driver cgminer 3.7.2 (3.8 does not support GC anymore) with cgwatcher (latest). All the mining process seems to be fine, i don't have any hardware error. Even with my other computer with my CPU i don't have any BTC. bfgminer -o stratum+tcp://eu.clevermining.com:3333 -u 13PcrgreweyG7gJaVFqa9V65iVuxfNoUQF -p testWam [2014-08-21 09:50:39] Summary of runtime statistics: [2014-08-21 09:50:39] Started at [2014-08-20 15:23:47] [2014-08-21 09:50:39] Pool: stratum+tcp://eu.clevermining.com:3333 [2014-08-21 09:50:39] CPU hasher algorithm used: sse2_64 [2014-08-21 09:50:39] Runtime: 18 hrs : 26 mins : 52 secs [2014-08-21 09:50:39] Average hashrate: 12.6 Megahash/s [2014-08-21 09:50:39] Solved blocks: 0 [2014-08-21 09:50:39] Best share difficulty: 113 [2014-08-21 09:50:39] Share submissions: 0 [2014-08-21 09:50:39] Accepted shares: 0 [2014-08-21 09:50:39] Rejected shares: 0 + 0 stale (-nan%) [2014-08-21 09:50:39] Accepted difficulty shares: 0 [2014-08-21 09:50:39] Rejected difficulty shares: 0 [2014-08-21 09:50:39] Hardware errors: 0 [2014-08-21 09:50:39] Network transfer: 2.61 / 0.17 MB ( 39.3 / 2.5 B/s) [2014-08-21 09:50:39] Efficiency (accepted shares * difficulty / 2 KB): 0.00 [2014-08-21 09:50:39] Utility (accepted shares / min): 0.00/min [2014-08-21 09:50:39] Unable to get work from server occasions: 0 [2014-08-21 09:50:39] Work items generated locally: 72981 [2014-08-21 09:50:39] Submitting work remotely delay occasions: 0 [2014-08-21 09:50:39] New blocks detected on network: 4667 [2014-08-21 09:50:39] Summary of per device statistics: [2014-08-21 09:50:39] CPU0 | 5s: 2.27 avg: 2.25 u: 2.33 Mh/s | A:0 R:0+0(none) HW:0/none [2014-08-21 09:50:39] CPU1 | 5s: 3.29 avg: 3.60 u: 2.91 Mh/s | A:0 R:0+0(none) HW:0/none [2014-08-21 09:50:39] CPU2 | 5s: 2.28 avg: 2.26 u: 1.75 Mh/s | A:0 R:0+0(none) HW:0/none [2014-08-21 09:50:39] CPU3 | 5s: 0.0 avg: 31.1 u: 0.0 h/s | A:0 R:0+0(none) HW:0/none [2014-08-21 09:50:39] CPU4 | 5s: 2.28 avg: 2.26 u: 2.52 Mh/s | A:0 R:0+0(none) HW:0/none [2014-08-21 09:50:39] CPU5 | 5s: 0.0 avg:171.0 u: 0.0 h/s | A:0 R:0+0(none) HW:0/none [2014-08-21 09:50:39] CPU6 | 5s: 2.28 avg: 2.26 u: 2.07 Mh/s | A:0 R:0+0(none) HW:0/none [2014-08-21 09:50:39] CPU7 | 5s: 0.0 avg:234.8 u: 0.0 h/s | A:0 R:0+0(none) HW:0/none [2014-08-21 09:50:39] Shutdown signal received.

Hello, i know that cpu mining is dead for BTC.
That is why i mine altcoin in this pool.
The CPU mining is only used for me to test the process and to familiarize me to the mining process.
You miss all the important part with the GPU mining on the first part btw. I don't want to buy materials to mine coins, it's only to make few money as i don't pay for the electricity use.
Thanks.

I am going to throw this out there. I started off similar to you before ordering some hardware. You can always throw the little btc you earn to cloudmining and earn something there and when you need to cash out just sell the cloud hashing. Check my signature for cloud hashing options. If you need some more help just pm me.
