We need votes for Mintcoin to be accepted on the btc38 exchange. http://www.btc38.com/trade/vote_for_trade.html

Once we get listed on btc38 it will be a huge boost for Mintcoin. This is a very big Chinese exchange and community in China.

Do we have to sign up first for voting there ? Its in chinese and so could you please help in explaning process of voting there more elaborate ?
Here is English version which allows you to sign up through facebook. http://www.btc38.com/trade/vote_for_trade_en.html

If you want to not do Facebook you need you sign up using your QQ account. You can get a QQ account here http://zc.qq.com/en/index.html

Then you go to http://www.btc38.com/trade/vote_for_trade.html and click to login with QQ by clicking this button here.

Then you log into QQ by clicking this button here and Put in your QQ number and password.

Then once you have logged in, you can go here and switch it to English.

Thanks alot for this explanation as was totally confused there ! Putting in some votes there right away as much could !

I have to say I AM SORRY in advance in case this has been asked a million time already, and answered:

I had not opened my wallet in weeks, thought to do it in passing and it just sat there, for hours, not opening. I tried a few times, it wouldn't.
I deleted the various block files and let it download it again, yay, it worked! but then today I came down and the entire system was locked up so I had to reboot, when I tried the wallet again, same crap, though, it gave me an error about failure to load some block file (I forget the exact language), so I deleted the shit again and am now waiting for another days worth of the wallet downloadingthe entire chain.

Is there any way to avoid this shit???

Check to make sure you are using updated addnodes in your MintCoin.conf file. Make sure it is in the right location too (located in the same folder with wallet.dat and blockchain files etc.)

Open up your MintCoin.conf file and delete and replace your addnodes with these... (then restart your wallet)

This should also help anyone to sync their wallet faster and not lock up, etc. For example if you are updating your wallet to the newest version and re-downloading and syncing the blockchain. So try that and see if it helps. (Just give it about 10-15 minutes for the wallet to pickup connections and then things should go smoother).

Mintcoin should have reached 1 satoshi by now...

...but it hasn't.

There is too much value in it. The name, the developer, the community.

Soon, it will have the world's first legally registered and legally recognized NGO. People underestimate how important this is. It will make Mintcoin seem like the only "legal" crypto out there and this could cause waves. There are tons and tons of businesses that refuse to adopt Bitcoin because it is unregulated. Mintcoin could go into areas where Bitcoin can't. All I gotta say to anyone interested in Mintcoin is to get into Mintcoin soon and before mintcointeam releases the big news.

CryptoSummit tweeted that Mintcoin had it's NGO up and running, which wasn't the case, but right after this was tweeted, the price of Mintcoin tripled.
100% agree, it's still a great coin to me

NO, Grin

It is just not hyped. Which is actually a good thing if you are actually a real value investor and not a short term day trader pump and dumper...trading volumes can be manipulated to make them appear more popular, but IMO, in the long run, this coin is going to be more valuable and has a lot to offer, very underrated.

Well I remember huge volumes of 2000 bitcoins and above at the start of Mintcoin.
But after the huge dump, the volume stayed relatively low.
I think alot of people lost interest or dont trust mintcoin devs anymore.
Or they moved on to the next fotm altcoin.
