They will never be confirmed now, because it's over due. But you will get new mined coins in future. So you  lose nothing.
Do I have to let my wallet open? In 1st post says "no". I have normal transactions when wallet is open. It's unconfirmed when wallet is close.

Keep your wallet online!

and unlocked..

You should be able to leave your wallet open for 2 or 3 days at a time every 20 days and get caught up on your minted coins.

You don't need to have your wallet online to accrue coin age/ coin weight. But when it comes to the time of actually "redeeming" the coin age by minting it, then you need to have your wallet online, unlocked, and synchronized. Then you will get accepted on the blockchain, and orphan blocks will mostly go away.

Is there any way to bootstrap the downloading and synchronization of the block-chain for Mintcoin?

Which means almost 80% of the issued coins controlled by the top 265 wallets.

Most interesting.

Well, to be fair, 95 of those "top 265 wallets" don't even contain 1BTC worth of MINT..

The news will probably be out soon or whenever the team is ready. From what I have been hearing on reddit, it's gonna be big. The price already moved up another satoshi. Moved up about 33% the past few days despite the other major altcoins dropping in price. I kinda feel something big happening. It could mean big things for Mintcoin.

This is also nice:

It was the dev who said it, but I don't know what he meant or if that will be the big announcement. Also, not sure if his idea of unlimited advertising would be the same as mine. I think people should temper their expectations of the "big news." It may just be news.
