Give it a rest BIG BOY....The premine was in no way a scam, they have devoted 10,000,000 Mintcoins to the Android Wallet development as well as setting up an NGO called The Mintcoin Fund.

What is it you FUDers want to see? 700,000,000 Mintcoins given out to develop one wallet? Mintcoin, as ALL other altcoins are an ONGOING endeavor, if any endeavor, be it an altcoin or brick and mortar business were to spend their ENTIRE working capital on just one project, how long do you think they would survive?

If you don't like they way things are run around here, move onto the next coin, you are nothing but a hindrance and an annoyance.

cooldown bro, i'm a longterm mintcoin investor too. for me it's strange that devs did not used the premine to fund this project.

I wish to be a long-term investor.  I don't want to question the premined 1% mintcoins, but others will do.

hola bro, listen for a sec, 10 Million of the funds dedicated towards the android wallet came from the developer. I always try to read a few pages of the thread before commenting.

Also, there is a great deal of work going on with the Mintcoin Fund. Keep an eye out.

The premine is for funding the Mintcoin Fundation.

David Latapie is in control of it with the developers and other who are members of The Mintcoin Fund.

David even invited opeennlyy to anyone who wanted to join the board of mintcoin fund.

Theres no premine scandal, we are really open and with fund to invest in LONG TERM SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT.

There no other coin that is this open and clear and with funds to progress.

Any aditional info, feel free to ask whatever you want.

Why the blocks are increasing so fast now? When I have synced network, the blocks increase about 100. Then I have to finish the sync again, and then the blocks increase about 100 again ...

I feel it is not normal.

I've noticed a lot of newcomers to the thread. Are you aware that you can mine other altcoins and get paid out in Mintcoin directly?

Point your miners here: https://hashco.ws/

Under the user info tab go to account settings and select payout coin as Mint. You can enter your Mint address under User Info> Coin settings. Enjoy.

For a great post explaining the benefits of the multipool click here: http://www.reddit.com/r/MintCoin/comments/21yd31/why_i_moved_my_farm_40mh_to_hashcows_and_why_you/

I agree, that probably had something to do with the switch. My wallet appears to be functioning normally. Skeem, you probably had your wallet open when the 220,000 block hit. You witnessed history  Cheesy

Check out Mintcoin online marketplace, Mintbay. You can buy games and GPUs with mintcoins \o/!

Thinking of putting up for sale alot of my mining hardware on that site, I read the faq, but as a seller what keeps the buyer from saying he never recieved the item?

Umm... they did use the premine to fund this project.  Roll Eyes People are also throwing in extra because they are generous and we have a great community that works together.

You can probably just add tracking. I haven't looked at the site yet but if you sell something and get paid then ship with tracking/ delivery confirmation you should be good. You may want to avoid certain countries or only ship to your country if the option is available

I asked this question in the feedback section. The funds are held in escrow so I'm sure the seller would be contacted in such event. Still, your question is valid. I'll let you know when I get a response. I asked that the question be addressed in the FAQ section of the website.

Why cant we have a clear comprehensive list on what the premine has been spent on? How much of the premine is left? How much did the dev dump for btc for personal profit etc?

Since you posted about it in real time, and are constantly spreading FUD.... I'm guessing it's you.

Ugh, no lol. I wish I had 50,000,000

Probably more likely part of the pre-mine.
