Beware with Bittrex...

All seems OK with your account... You can cancel an old 2016 Vertcoin order (0.98 VTC) with super high price, all seems normal,...,
YOU CAN CREATE without problems a new deposit address for BCC (Bitcoin cash),  the "brand new" coin,..., all seems normal.
But when you try to trade (after 20 confirmations for deposit) appears a new thing: "ACCOUNT_DISABLED". And when you try to withdrawal: "ACCOUNT_DISABLED". I can not withdrawal my VTC (0.98 VTC), I can not withdrawal my BCC,...
Is a trap, dishonest behaviour,..,

No response from support yet.

Beware with this people.
I have lost money because I can not sell my Bitcoin cash at good price.
And It's not clear what will happen with my BCC.

Elacoin-ELC,Betacoin-BET,Neutroncoin-NTRN,Americancoin-AMC,Stronghands-SHND,Craftcoin-CRC,DOGE,BCH,BTC,...,Bitcoin,...(and a lot more)
Linux updated wallets (source code) for: ELC, BET, AMC, NKT, SLING, CRC,...
[if (blocknumber > 115000) maxblocksize=largerlimit]   [I don't think the threshold should ever be 0.  We should always allow at least some free transactions.]

you are costing people thousands of dollars with the 20 confirmations crap

It makes no sense... with the current block times there is zero chance of forking... The chance with BTC is way higher and there only 2 confs are needed

Bittrex's captcha is err, built-in, the captcha solving "pop-up" will appear once you click the login button. So you need to click the login, solve the captcha, then the page will allows you to access it. As why you can "temporarily" login, I think that's because recaptcha sometimes allow you to prove you're not a robot simply by clicking their box, and as it is built-in, then once you click the login box, you also clicked the recaptcha "prove not a robot" button, thus accessing the page

Jesus enough with "costing people thousands of dollars" shit.  yeah its 20 confirms, yeah that long.  There are other exchanges.  hitbtc, cryptopia...for example.  If you wanted to sell at 0.10 but when you get it its 0.07, you didnt lose any money - if everyone could get their BCC in time, the price would be 0.07 anyway, just faster.

I just signed up with bittrex.com and i got verified with 3BTC withdrawal limit per day. This is enough for me for now. I hope i wont encounter all your cited problems above when i start trading.

Maybe i will test the water first before i make a long swim to make sure everything will work out and to avoid surprises like you all encountered. I will try to deposit small amount first then will try to make a few trades then will test the withdrawal function. Then will repeat the same thing but with an increase amount. If everything goes well then its all good. Maybe you just need to get verified after all.

I will keel you posted guys for my journey with bittrex.com

I've used Bittrex successfully in the past and have an account with them for years, but I'm having serious issues right now. Deposited with them and tried to use the market, however somehow, and without any clues on why this happened, I always see the error "ACCOUNT_DISABLED" when I try to do anything on the market. I've seen some recent posts of people having the same issue and without any solution. I've sent a support ticket to which I'm waiting on a response.

In addition to this, the biggest issue now is that I cannot withdraw any coins, when attempting to do so I get the same error I have when trying to trade. So I realized I'm effectively stuck there while I was trying to have no more business with Bittrex... I am seriously considering opening a scam accusation. Haven't done so as reports of this don't seem to be widespread, at least for now...

Is there someone who's staff on Bittrex on these forums that can help me solve my issue? This is the worst experience I've had so far with an exchange... Sad

Good luck finding a solution. If you post the ticket ID here they will be able to identify your problem.

I posted a thread about this here.

A couple of weeks ago i opened an account with poloniex for i want to start trading but i have read that they are having some problem. So i did not continue to transfer funds to them.

Then i research and find bittrex as the next option, so a few days ago i opened an account with bittrex and got verified as well. I just need to transfer fund to start trading. Now bittrex is encountering problem and disabling account and suspending withdrawal.

My question is, what is the next best exchange to do my trading?

It depends on where you are located. I personally use Kraken, which even though it has had and has lots of problems with its trading engine, has not had general deposit or withdrawal problems so far.

You must however be careful when setting up 2FA on Kraken. It's not as straightforward as it might seem and you might end up with your account being able to be unlocked without any 2FA code.

I will try to make this short, cos nobody have time for boring posts.
Im daily trader, trading crypto since 2013. Probably used all exchanges, but never Bittrex( thats before Aug 1st)
I had accoount on Bittrex, not sure when i open it, but never got any funds.
Couple of weeks ago i got email from Bittrex with login information to my account from IP that i didnt recognized.
I didnt have 2fa enabled, so I clicked the link in my acc. and disable it. After that i enable 2fa, changed password and send
ticket to support and asked if there is anything else that i can do. No answer, but website states that account will be disabled for
at least 24hours after contacting support. Great, np, i had no funds, so OK. Life goes on.

Last week, fork was happening and since my funds were in Poloniex, and they didnt say anything about matching BTC with BCC,
I decided to transfer my funds, 2.77BTC, to Bittrex. And that's what i did.
Fork happened, got matched with 2.77BCC, and went out for biz(doesn't matter)
When i got back home, BTC-BCC trading already started, so i was pissed off that i didnt catch the wave from bottom,
but price was still great to buy, 0.12, with LOTS of volume. It was already late, so i decided to go all in with my funds and go to sleep.
I setup everything, went allin with 2.77BTC, clicked confirm, and guess what?Huh ACCOUNT DISABLED. WTF???
Than it hit me that couple of weeks ago i dissable it and its not enabled yet. FUCK. Whatever, i went to sleep.
When i wake up, BCC was 0.4, x3+ from my wanted trade. Fuck it, lost 6-7btc. At least i was left with 2.77BCC that i was matched.
I decided to sell them at $1000, setup everything, clicked confirm and yes, ACCOUNT DISABLED.
Account is still disabled, my funds are locked, support is not answering. I also tried contacting Richiela on Twitter, LinkedIn and its
same as support, NO ANSWER. For the past 5-6 days im writing to support and they are ignoring me.
If anybody have any info on how to contact Bittrex or how to resolve this, it would be much appreciated.

ltcifc, it seems they are disabling every other account. They promise 24h resolution of this problem but, unless they hire more support personnel, I find it difficult for those tickets to be solved anywhere nearly that deadline.

I must however say that Bittrex, among many other exchanges, are having problems way too often.

I posted a thread about this here.

Hi,

The only issue we are having is a delayed support time due to an enormous amount of new users over the last few days.  I have new support agents starting almost daily to help handle the ticket load.

There are many reasons why an account can be locked without notice. Examples include, but are not limited to, abusive API usage, suspicious activity such as logging in from a different ip range on a dormant account, or knowingly or unknowingly participating in illegal trades, and in rare cases accounts are disabled when we see a suspicious deposit.

We understand the value of privacy and the concern this may cause you. We treat your information with a high level of care and respect.

Unfortunately, when suspicious activity occurs on an account, we have a legal duty to both investigate and know the identity of the user. This is especially the case if your account is a legacy account.

The majority of issues you see that people post are user error or lack of following instructions.

If you are not getting the support you need please come to our slack channel, you can get an invite here, http://slack.bittrex.com, then you will be able to join our slack, https://bittrex.slack.com Once in slack you can join #customer-support and post your ticket and an agent will get back to you.

I apologize for the delay in support and promise we are doing nothing but making sure we continue to hire agents to get to customer concerns in a more timely fashion.

Ryan @ Bittrex

Hi bittrex !!! I signed up to your site 3 months ago , all was ok i accepted your terms about 1 btc withdraw limit per day for unverified account. And now suddenly you change that for 0.025 btc without any notice. When i and most of us would know that we would never deposit nothing to your site. You should give us some time to make a decision 1 month or something like that. For now i only want to withdraw all my btc and stop using your site. When you will raise withdraw limit to 1 btc like befor ? I don't want to withdraw my btc for 2 years or so.

And what about that Ryan will you rise that limit to normal 1 btc or at least give us some more time to withdraw ?

Unverified account limits will remain where they are now for legal purposes.  Please preform a Basic or Enhanced verification to increase the limits.

Basic verification does not access for anything that is not already a public record.  If that fails you can also verify via SMS on your mobile device.

Having a little hiccups due to sudden new users is quite logical and understandable. With recent eh, issue with polo, a lot of member thst usually trade on polo are now running to bittrex, creating a major increment in both activities and volumes, and of course ticket problems too. I only want to say good luck and keep trying, Ryan.

And for other users, at least their official. Is still replying and actively responding your issues on a lot of medias, so in my oponion, you should not worry..began worrying when the admins are withdrawing themselves from public.

I tried to withdraw 0.00049 for testing purpose and I got this message "ACCOUNT_DISABLED "
Also when trying to deposit it wont generate a bitcoin address. I click 'get new address' and it gets stuck saying "Generating address ...". There is a QR code but I dont trust it's going to work, what with the account disabled error and no actual address.
