thanks for sharing the link. this is not an explanation really it is just an excuse. the fact of the matter is that they suddenly decided to change their rules without giving their users notice first. if i knew they are going to enforce this kind of verification on me i would have withdrawn my money from there. now it is stuck! Its also full of bullshit. They did ban people on slack for asking awkward questions. They banned me and I watched them ban others while it happened. 0.1% of accounts affected, they have a whole team working on it. Then why the fuck is it that 7 days later the majority of people still seem to be fucked. What happens if you dont trust them and their unknown I.D verifying 3rd party enough to send all your important I.D and a selfie - how are they planning on returning your funds as you disagree with the terms? Are they just going to steal everyone's money? Why are they still allowing unlimited deposits to unverified accounts then block withdrawals? I just tried to withdraw and it went through. I am not sure why I was getting the message. may be an error on their side. try withdrawing small amount. see if it goes through.

Ive gone from a 1337 BTC daily limit legacy account to a 3 BTC daily limit basic account. A couple of weeks ago I withdrew just over 75 BTC, thank fuck I did before all this shit took place or it would have taken nearly a month to get the funds out.

Ive gone from a 1337 BTC daily limit legacy account to a 3 BTC daily limit basic account. Don't you think this is the reason why they are currently purging all those big whales so they can't control the price this time? People who owns more than 500 BTC can really influence the public by a simple pump and dump and so forcing KYC can probably minimize all these.

Seen as they get a % of all transactions they dont care, you think they dont manipulate markets themselves?

At least, experienced Bittrex don't allow unlimited withdraw until you have enhanced verification. Need to get verified account for smoothly going.

Seen as they get a % of all transactions they dont care, you think they dont manipulate markets themselves? Sure they involved in pump and dump on their platform, especially with new alt-coins and tokens. and as for ARB they gain a huge amount every minutes from our trade.

I followed the guidelines so this seems sketchy to me.
I will give it another try at some point, but for now, no more trading on Bittrex for me.

Had 2-FA enabled, I did a reset in my phone without backing up any thing. Now Google Authenticator is asking for something which I don't have, can't find it at all. Unable to login to Bittrex now. What's the fastest way to get the hell out of this issue?

No way I am sending my ID details to an unknown US based ID company. I am verified on an exchange in my home country where they deposit fiat into my account. That is enough. With no notice given and a faulty verifing system it points to something else being up. Otherwise just unlock accounts and let people move their coins. If they want to stay and use the Trex service then make them verify.
The way this has been handled is the very worst. almost unbelievable if it wasn't cryptos. They must surely be breaking some law

Apparently google sometimes stores the seed in your phone cache, but yeah GA doesn't offer up a seed on Trex it's the worst 2fa in existence

I want my money back
i have been a bittrex user for years now and since my account was old the account type was "Legacy" and my limit has always been high. (recently changed to 1337BTC). everything was fine and i continued using bittrex without any issue.
now out of the blue my account type is changed to lowest possible account! and i am not willing to give bittrex any documentation. i would like to take my money out and use another exchange but it is stuck too!
sent a ticket too.
(this is a big scam by bittrex in my opinion, they are harvesting bitcoin users identification by forcing this new rule upon them)

If you guys were trading "big money" with unverified account, you are the person to blame. Not bittrex....
Do not comment without enough information please. Many accounts, including my account, have been fully verified If you got banned there is a reason behind it. I doubt bittrex ban account "for fun". well well well doctor you completely solve problem. what that reason, why they hide it? we deserve proper answer, it a heist
