Nobody knows for sure what's going on. Many people were able to get verified eventually, but quite a few were not. If your verification failed you should submit a ticket and wait with a hope that it will be resolved somehow. Basic verification works (sometimes) for US-based users.

As a US resident, I can confirm that my Basic Verification is still active. I signed up in September. However, the withdrawal limit was lowered from 3 BTC to 0.4 BTC when I logged in today. I'm not sure when that change occurred, as I've been too paranoid to fund my Bittrex account given all the account locking. I'm really not comfortable handing my documents over to this 3rd party "Jumio." If Equifax can't even secure my info, I don't think "Jumio" can.

Also, when I logged in, I was immediately directed to the "Enhanced Verification" page. It was not mandated, and my daily withdrawal limit still says 0.4 BTC. But it doesn't give me a good feeling.

I think I'll stick with Poloniex, HitBTC, Cryptopia and Yobit for now.

same here, I am from Brazil

Prices are crashing and my funds are stuck....Bittrex should have to pay us the difference.  They violated their own terms and it is costing us money.  I think we may have a case ---> plus, the margins are cumulative so we should be able to sue for some multiple over the peak market valuations, right?

They are on news, still they don't have any words on what's totally happening with them. What they do is disabling accounts that I assume have large funds.

Tactics, they are losing people's trust on them. Taking advantage that majority of the traders are using them and promoting them for free.

But now they are quiet on these disabled accounts and lowering the withdrawal limits. They are playing dirty, next time try to spread your funds and don't just deposit on bittrex.

They don't allow me to withdraw my own funds. Customer support is known to be non-existent and not replying to to tickets in months (if ever).

I had an account some time  ago but I forgot credentials..
Can I make a new account ,
Maybe I find data of old account someday..
I don't want to be restricted then!

It says here that you are allowed multiple accounts, but if you reuse any phone number or identification your accounts will get automatically disabled. You have to tell them about it before reusing the same ID.

https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001262712-Multiple-Accounts-Phone-and-Identification-Reuse-Policy

Also bittrex's terms say it can refuse to let you open more than one account for any reason.

https://bittrex.com/Home/Terms

Quote
2.2 Number of Bittrex Accounts. Bittrex may, in its sole discretion, limit the number of Bittrex Accounts that you may hold, maintain, or acquire.

Following.
They might have problems with the government, they might have an unexpected high volume of new requests, they might be understaffed... it can be anything, but one thing is for sure: you can't treat your clients like this. People opened a ticket without getting a reply for weeks or months. Not a company I want to be in business with, they won't see a cent from me anymore, even if I get my money back.

Maybe someone has already closed account there and it is needed to know if they will return money? Because in account deletion request it is written that account cannot be recovered after deletion.

I tried that one.  I requested to have my account closed and have my funds released.  However, they will not entertain any other request until the account is verified, and the verification process never completes.  I told them that even if my account were verified that I would never use their services again anyway.  I do not trust them anymore ---> they don't honor their own terms of service and they do whatever they want, whenever they want, without notice.

I think they were compelled to work with the FEDS to avoid prosecution for transacting with sanctioned countries because their behavior is completely aberrant and against the whole ideology underlying the technology.  Your documents are probably going straight into a CIA database along with every address you ever used on the ledger ---> better believe it!  Don't be surprised if you get a visit from men in black suits in the next few months if you're in the United States.
