If anyone reads the first post of this discussion about why people is saying btw is dead, you will realize that its from 2014. From this date bitcoin dead some millions of times, there were a lot of articles announcing the dead. But we are on 2016 and today bitcoin price is increasing near 10 % from yesterday lowest price. Some users wants to move the price to lower levels to buy more bitcoins.

Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?!

Because they don't know what they're talking about. Those people are just handing their bitcoins to someone else who deserves them more.
I think they do it for two reasons.
1.They want people to start selling so they can buy at cheap price.
2.They have lost lots of btc to gambling and now wants other to abandon bitcoin Cheesy

Point 1: Swaying public opinion will allow the bearish traders to succeed in their desires, at least temporarily for a small demographic. If there are a large amount of "BITCOIN IS DEAD" threads, that should at least affect a few people. It may not drive a huge market change, but with increased publicity it can potentially grow.

Anyway, at this current time the Bitcoin price is increasing so I'm pretty excited.  Shocked

Nobody says Bitcoin is dead, only spammers do  Grin
I'm not sure who told you Bitcoin is dead if you are legitimately asking this question. It's alive and well.
The market is just too large for Bitcoin to die.

Due to the sudden drastic fall in the bitcoin rate made people say bitcoin is dead. As you said it has getting back to growing path when compared to the previous days.

Declaring BTC dead or asking the question if it is dead is just trolling.  Those that believe in the technology would not say this, only people driven by the monetary gain possibilities and those with no coins at all.

I love Bitcoin

Good man. Those technology won't get collapsed or gets degraded in its advancement. Just because of unexpected explosion the fall had occured in the value not in technology.

I think 1 could be proper reason for the recent drop. 2 is unlikely as bitcoin is not used in gambling a lot.

Because people panic sell when certain bad events happen. Bitcoin has been thought to have died off many times right now, still hasn't. The technology behind it is still solid, the only thing that can make bitcoin die is the community, by no longer supporting it and selling all coins.

Exactly, and that's why panic selling is dangerous and happen and why lots of people yell that btc is dead. Because yelling the FUD is part of the btc dropping price!

It can be easily prepared by some communication. It helps stocking coins at low price!

Most people here say it to troll.
Like their topics and threads can influence the price. It's said and stupid.
Because the only thing that can kill bitcoin, must be born first.

It does expand. But I bet banks are already a bit in it you know. Or at least the investment funds, which is basically the same in my opinion.

And it does expand but think about all those that are dying on the side of the road. Btc rises, but hurts lots of people on its way to the top  Undecided

lol I think it's different, you can not equate bitcoin with living things, bitcoin will always live even if the price will fall $ 1

Actually no. If btc price falls to 1$, no one will mine btc because it would cost them lots of money to do so. If nobody mines btc, no transaction can be done. If no transactions can be done, it's hard to call btc "alive", cause it doesn't do anything.
