After some time with better perspective on allacidents i must admit that BC hold nice... People have as allways short memory they have forgoten whole madness of BC and POS there was many people aroud who argued that solo POS system can work for most people was PPC POS/POW hybrid system top one.
After some time with clone coins like WC 1st bigger speculation clone then anon mix POS like Cloak XC Blackcoin is the one which is all time development in core system and get all updates most changes are unnoticed. But there are people arround working and code dev is working with his own speed high quality need time.
With good development even like halo was price was falling 20k-> 14k while before everyday was scam coins mayby it was not "scams" but it were clones with many promisess pumped to 1st bigger pump and forgoten at end... Don't get me wrong BC was manipulated like any other crypto here but at end most of those coins were abandoned.
Guys today is hard o find coin wich is older than 6months and have active team like BC while most of others clones were abandoned. I am happy that rat4 is passionate guy he don't focus on price or p&d, he frequently update BC code in future i want see him get rid of centralized checkpoints and make BC true decentralized crypto.

We are busy getting Onyx (Blackcoin Payment Gateway) ready for public beta, our system administrator is setting up the production environment. We hope to have more news regarding the progress of this project soon.
We are considering opening a development blog on blackwavelabs.com to provide updates on our progress.

+1 on the survey. As an occasional member I personally have trouble find the important updates and keep track of all the developments.
This will be fixed, there is so much going on at all times.

Brilliant. I for one hope to have a BC-related project ready to use it soon.

Calling all freelancers Following on from Paladins_code's excellent suggestion ( http://nm.reddit.com/r/blackcoin/comments/2ndqqo/freelancers_can_support_blackcoin_liquidity_by/ ), I have made a modified version of BlackCoinMap, dedicated to promoting freelancers who take BlackCoin as payment. As Paladins_code rightly states, if a currency wishes to move beyond the pure speculation phase, it needs to be used, to be spent within a vibrant ecosystem. Who better to show how to use BlackCoin than all of those amongst us who would be perfectly willing to trade some of our HODLING in order to get shit done by likeminded people ? http://blackcoin-freelancers.comWith this directory resource at our disposal, we can use BlackHalo to contract between ourselves, to provide real world examples of how leading edge tech can be implemented. As of posting, the directory contains just one entry to get the ball rolling. Who's going to be the next to dive in ?

You shouldnt believe everything barabbas says. Probably best to discard most of what he says actually.

Way far from. We get stronger every day. Price doesn't reflect work effort.

Not trying to promote this or something, but check this out - https://holytransaction.com/It's a "Universal" wallet and you can store blackcoins and buy them directly from your wallet, the down side is that you don't control the private keys. Anyone using this ? Are they planning a multi-currency exchanges/buys(doge to blackcoin) ?

In case you weren't aware, multigateway supports Blackcoin, Doge, BTC and Nxt.
It is the most decentralised trading platform to date and works on three multi-sig servers approving transaction.
See Multigateway.org for more info.

Man this exchange is BS. Its not decentralized. There are 3 servers and who has access to them ? 1 person. No thx. Was that a question? Sounded like FUD. The correct answer is in the link above. I said multigateway was the most decentralised. I read the first line of holytransaction "universal crytpocurrency wallet with instant exchange". Unless they have solved the long standing problem of Atomic Cross Chain Transactions (I.e. CIYAMs Automated Transactions), this screams and writes in big red letters "100% centralised". 1 guy, a la Mintpal and Mount Gox. The three Multigateway servers are run by three different businesses that have an interest in seeing it succeed, each server has been implemented slightly differently. And you need to hack all three. If you can do that, there is no central hot wallet. Funds are spread evenly across n accounts so you might only get 0.5-10 btc? If you're capable of all that, why not just hack 1 centralised exchange and take 100's of Btc from theit hotwallet? If you know of a more decentralised way of trading between different blockchains than Multigateway, I'd like to know about it.
