Some people probably set their gear up and let it run, and didn't check back here. I've been getting reports of that. It's normal. But people shouldn't just blindly trust pool ops or coin devs.

My pool network is private right now as it has been for awhile. There will be a very public launch soon. We're making sure things are good to go, lots of testing to try and mitigate any issues. I also support another up and coming pool network which has been lauded by several coins. You'll see a link to the ANN thread in my sig at some point.

Launch it once you have github sources, linux, windows, mac, and the coin has been tested against a couple of private pools with decent hashrate.

Uh, and once everything else has been solved also.

Milestones should be met before launch, not just a random day/time goal.

Adding onto my response, why are you even asking people when they want the relaunch? That shouldn't be a question at all. When it's ready to be launched, then announce it. This supposedly has a business model, but instead of executive class decisions, planning and execution, it just seems fly by the pants.

Asking random folks on the internet when to launch? How about when it's ready, and then you give a 48 hour notice or something??

As many have stated in this thread, we are patient
and can wait till Saturday or Sunday launch at 3-5pm Eastern time.
We only ask that if you launch it during the week, that you
make a night launch around 9PM Eastern (6-8pm Central/Western)
time.  Most people have jobs and can not set up and start miners
while at work. And some have to have dinner with their family.
So either do it the same time next weekend, or a night launch only would
be fair.  We bought into the IPO and spent time getting ready for
a Sunday 5pm Eastern launch, it failed, but the new launch should
be the exact same day/time in 1 week, so no one can complain the
launch time was altered. And please make sure the pools that will
WORK right at launch are listed, and any pools that take 45 minutes
to get running are not listed (or are listed as X time after launch)

P.S. I agree with above poster, take a few days and make sure everything
is perfect for your last chance at a good launch. Then give 48 hours notice,
which brings me back to my point that Saturday or Sunday is the best day
for launch. I would think Friday should be the absolute soonest to even consider
it. And I am an IPO investor.
