2 questions...

1. Credited for auto exchange ->  these are amounts waiting to be sent to an exchange?  What does it mean when it's in brackets? ()

2. On Exchange -> These are amounts that have been sent to an exchange but pending sufficient confirmations until the result is added to the auto exchance currency "Credited" column?

Credited is your balance.

Brackets mean they are waiting for the actual coin networks themselves to confirm the credit.

On exchange means it has been sent to an exchange (Bittrex, Yobit or Poloniex) and is waiting to be sold and returned (as your selected coin i.e. BTC).

So it moves from in the brackets, to out of the brackets, to the exchange, to finally arrive as the new coin (i.e. BTC).

When it disappears from On Exchange, is there typically a delay before it gets added to the selected Credited column?  (e.g. BTC)

Yeah for the past hour or so I'm seeing the same amounts of verticoin and zencash randomly appearing and disappearing from the exchange column without any change to credited.  Is this just a connection issue to the exchanges?

I'm sorry for all the noobie questions but I just want to have a good understanding of MPH, as out of all the pools I have tried so far, it seems the most reliable, it's the only one that seems to be stable and not crashing every few hours.

I wouldn't worry too much.

This pool is rock solid; sure the front end could do with some improvement but it close to never fails and has shown that it can scale up without issues.

I assume we can't create our own Multi Algo Auto Switch? I ask because it doesn't appear that there is the exact combination I need for what my card will run and when one of the non-supported algorithms (for my card) becomes the most efficient coin to mine, I stop mining.

I need to upgrade Cheesy

First day so not sure how helpful I'll be...

1 - A default job is what algorythm/coin you have set to mine. It can be set per worker or by account. This link will tell you what coin will be mined by your selection (I think) https://miningpoolhub.com/?page=statistics&action=autoswitches
2 - If you are running a CMD window it should show you...

Well went from "Awesome Miner" "MultiPoolMiner" and at least on the Lyra2RE2 is 39.50 MH/s comared to the previous AM of 35 MH/s.

MultiPoolMiner is still downloading the Miners.  I get those dll error every now and then.

Hey all.  I've signed up to use Mining Pool Hub, and I've set up to convert to bitcoin.  I plan on mining to the pool through awesome miner.  I can't see anywhere on the mining pool website where to put my bitcoin wallet address for payout, and on awesomeminer, it asks for my MPH user name, not bitcoin address.  Can someone please walk me through how to input my wallet address?

Thanks very much,
-Sityl

You put your BTC address in the mininpoolhub wallet (click on Bitcoin in the left column, then wallet). Set your auto-exchange to Bitcoin and then you're good to go!

Does anyone know why i get a connection denied issue sometimes when i connect to 12XXX. I never have the issue on the 17xxx, its just annoying having to restart the miner everytime the most profitable coin changes.

Would it be ok for me to leave the awesome miner running and let it continue to reconnect until it does? If i stop the miner for aroudn 15 minutes and let the connection drop off it allows me to connect. If i use port 17XXX it will let me connect as well... so confused haha.

I have a port question when using AwesomeMiner + Mining Pool Hub + 1060 rigs

Is the configuration supposed to use 17xxx (Algo switch mining) or 12xxx (Multi-algo switch mining) ports?

Miningpoolhub indicates 17XXX is best for asics whereas 12XXX is best for GPUS. When I go through the default configuration through AwesomeMiner it automatically sets up each algorithm with 17XXX though that seems incorrect.

Thoughts?

Ex:For LyraREv2

stratum+tcp://hub.miningpoolhub.com:17018
or
stratum+tcp://hub.miningpoolhub.com:12018

See: https://miningpoolhub.com/index.php?page=gettingstarted

Both are valid, here's the difference:

Port numbers of 17xxx will always mine the specified algo, but may change what coin is actually being mined.
Port numbers of 12xxx are auto switch ports, and are turned on and off at MPH by the algo profitability switching. A miner connected here will be disconnected when that algo is not currently profitable.

You can try contacting MPH operator directly. Hes easy to talk to but has been really busy lately. Try him on email or skype.

Its not really that important to me at least, merely a nusiance issue. The actual profitability compares favorably to the theoretical values, so the gauge is just a nice thing to make sure its all still working.

2. On the Zcoin Dashboard, I can see the Recent Credits for the past few days.
On 2017-12-08 it was noticeably lower, at about 1020AM UTC, I stopped receiving shares. At about 1220PM I received the email "no shares from worker in 10min". I logged in via TV and it was running as expected. But the shares only resumed at about 0930PM UTC.

How can I debug this? My Monero miner was still going strong, so it cannot be the network connection.

I think this was a pool issue last night, since my 24h profitability is about half of what I was expecting. There were some website issues last night, and a database issue as well that resulted in shares not being credited.

Lets see if it continues happening, or if the pool operator finds and fixes an issue.
...

I closed my miner 10 mins ago. The zcoin dashboard went from 800h/s to 1.1kH/s.....  "Hashrate based on shares submitted in the past 5 minutes." Im not sure what's going on here. These stats make no sense... Cry

I think the dashboard gauge has a significant amount of time weighted averaging going on, it seems to take quite a while to reflect changes in miner output and never catches up 100%. Every time I look at it I find some weird number from 0 to hashrate.

I would use the 17xxx ports only in Awesome miner since the miner is doing what the 12xxx ports do for the pools hub switches. Using the 12xxx is redundant. Also if the 17xxx ports are not a problem then why mess with the 12xxx ports.

When using profit switching in awesome miner, (it uses the 17xxx ports(), what should the "Accounts default job" be set to for each worker?  I have 3 workers, one for each rig and currently the setting is "no work".  Still seems to be working.  But what should it be set to given awesome miner will switch between different algorithms?

So i made a test.

Is there a reason to multicoin mine when the outcome is the same?

I was auto exchanging everything to btc, but since btc skyrocketed i figured it wasnt worth auto converting my ethash profits to btc anymore.

My rigs, since the eth diff is stable now, have been doing ~0.20 eth a day, and i though, if i can make my rigs mine the ethash algo on mph, i would actually earn a little bit more.

For 3 days straight i still mine ethash, but this time i auto exchange to ethereum, my profit is still 0.20 a day.

Note that i am using linux and i cannot really use a multiminer yet, as i am trying to.

Hi Peeps,

Anyone know the settings for nvisia/windows auto-algo switching for equihash? I can't seem to find the settings on the MPH FAQ. I know its port 12013, but what miner and settings are you using as EWBF does not exit on stratum connection loss when switching algo;s, it is a known issue.

Any help will be appreciated, Thnx

Thanks a lot for info
Any one can help with better miner for mining lyra2rev2 on nvidia/linux?

Maybe try 32bit version instead 64bit miner.
Someone told me that 32bit version works better.

Also try v2.2.3 from tpruvot
https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/releases

I'm not sure about this because every miner reports different results.

Hi
This is miningpoolhub operator

1. Sorry for late reply.
I am receiving hundreds of emails, skype chats these days. Also bitcointalk, reddit posts are growing rapidly.
I've replied to all email questions.
Pardon me, I can't answer all questions posted in community too.
I've found that I can't move pool forward if I reply all community posts. There's many requests like coin addition, feature improvements to do.
I hope expert members to help new members each other.

Please contact me via contact@miningpoolhub.com email if you need my private advice or immediate service faults like account problem, or pool errors.
I can't handle all general mining questions and settings, pool usage questions.

2. Here's my task list I'm focusing.
- one page miner dashboard will come soon.
- ETN or new profitable coin addition
- improve FAQ page and texts all over the pool to guide new miners. I would like to add small explanation popup text all over the website.

3. Thank you for your trust, and patience during the previous 80 minutes of website crash.
I've been running pool for almost 4 years but such long emergency crash didn't happen.
I had really tough day too.

I understand you worry about your coins regarding the hack.
I recommend you to withdraw coins periodically. I don't mean that pool will be hacked, but pool is not intended for wallet service.
Some coin pools can be closed if mining is meaningless too.
Keep your precious coin in your pocket.

Hey man, thanks for your work. I think we all understand that everything must be a bit hectic with the whole NiceHash situation.

I have a question also. For some reason my mined Etherium doesn't seem to be going into my wallet, specifically on one miner. Using AwesomeMiner (+MiningPoolHub) everything seems to work fine, mines Etherium and Siacoin, both report hashrates on the MiningPoolHub website within a few minutes of starting and transactions come through. Running MultiPoolMiner and setting it up to use MiningPoolHub causes only my Siacoin hashrate to update on the website, while Etherium does nothing, even though the miner is showing it's mining both for hours. The hashrates I'm getting seem to be higher with MultiPoolMiner than AwesomeMiner. Any idea why this might all be happening?

Seems like multipoolminer mined ETC because it uses ethash profit switching.
Check Ethereum classic pool.

I've noted a similar discrepancy in hashrate, and not just on Lyra2v2. Many times it seems like the dials on the pool dashboard are only displaying a fraction of what the miner is actually doing.

For instance right now, I have my rig running tpruvot ccminer v2.2.3 at 28MH/s. There are shares being submitted a couple of times a minute all in this ballpark. But the dial on the dashboard is saying that I am only getting 2MH/s for some reason, which is obviously well below what it should be.

The hashrates are displayed correctly on the worker configuration page, with my big miner currently showing 25.8 MH/s on the worker config versus the 28 MH shown in the miner console. I've been mining since dogecoin back in 2013, and am used to there being some slippage between what the miner says and what the pool reports.

Yeah dashboard only uses last 10 minutes.
Miner should check Graphs page if he want to check average hashrate because it uses 1 hours of hashrate.

Dashboard and Workers page is more rapid to hashrate changes but not accurate.

Does anybody use MPH All In One Miner downloaded from MPH GitHub?
Also, question for devs/admins, why is updated last time a year ago?

https://github.com/miningpoolhub/all-in-one-miner

Oh, I released this miner for skein algo and --no-retry option.

I'm having the same problem with Vertcoin as somebody already mentioned. Pool dashboard and stats show me that my hashrate is zero and graph doesn't show any activity on this coin at all. I do see activity on other coins.

I use Multipoolminer which is running at CCminer Lyra2Re2 algo now. And I do get new Vertcoins on my balance... However no indication on pool graphs/stats yet...

What do I do wrong?
Do I have to configure hub workers in any certain way?

Did you add your worker?
Automatic worker addition is quite slow sometimes. Maybe adding worker would solve this issue.

I will love to see Decred added to the pools, actually I'm dual mining decred on other pool, but would instaswitch to miningpool if it gets added. Mining ethash since months on miningpool and everything works awesome. Keep up with the good work!

Yep. I'll add that. It's on task list.

a way to see what miners are up, what hash rate they have, and what is its current coin from the workers page would be nice. because going to each pool in an "algorithm" mining (for asics or GPUs) is really hard to know what pool it is mining too.

Yeah this is what I'm working on. You will see it soon.

First of all Big thanks for your work. You have a great and fair pool.
I have only one question: why I'm not seeing any data on VTC dashboard and also coins in wallet? My rig have a full job, but nothing activity on pool. With MONA there was no any problems.

Maybe adding worker manually helps.
Automatic worker addition is quite slow sometimes. I'm fixing it.

Also dashboard shows late data upto 10 minutes.

Hello,
I am a new user of MPM with MPH.
The estimated profitability by MPM is 0.00052 BTC/day. I waited 3 days to get a fair estimate but it shows 0.00087 BTC in my balance( auto exchanged to BTC ). It is about half of the estimated profitability. Is it normal? Am I doing something wrong? I followed the readme instructions.
Thanks

Hi guys,
Can anyone comment on discrepancy between MPH and WhatToMine profitability estimates?
At the moment of writing MPH suggests the most profitable coin for Nvidia is Vertcoin:
Coin           Algo           Port       Norm. Profit        Pool Hash   Last Block
Vertcoin    Lyra2RE2   20507   0.21677   1.46T   32s ago
Monacoin   Lyra2RE2   20593   0.21333   797.04G   7m ago

At the same time WhatToMine shows (per a single GTX 1070):
Coin                revenue per day, $
Monacoin            3.64
Vertcoin              3.04

20% discrepancy is kinda a lot

Hi, I'm new too and been mining on MPH for 5 days. I could be wrong but this is what I've observed.

Are you using auto profit switching? For me I found that focusing on mining one coin/day is better. You'll get your share when the pool found the block. MPH seems to switch often these days (thanks to the fluctuation of bitcoin price).

For each coins, the pool may solved 10 blocks+ per hour, or solved only 4 blocks or less per hour depend on luck. In a worse case, it could be just only one block or none. If your MPH happened switched to its coin of choice during "bad time" you'll get less profit.

You can check block stat on each coin's statistic.

I would say, better choose your coin manually if you do not have powerful rig. Last night I tried autoswitch for just curiosity, the thing switched to FTC 7 times during last night, spent 3 hours in total to mine FTC (average 25 min per switch) and all I got was only 0.4 FTC.
