You sent your e-mail about three weeks after he started accepting requests for refunds and considering his claim that the e-mail account was shut down, it's liable to take some time. I sent my PM the day he showed up on the forum and was the largest account holder to do so, at the time. At first, payments were being made pretty quickly (1 BTC every 2-3 days) but as more and more people started requesting refunds, it's slowed to a trickle. Especially since the markets are so stagnant. I went a month waiting for the last payment, which ended up being .25 Bitcoin. That was July 29th, almost two weeks ago. So it's gonna be real slow...but as long as I DO get paid back, I will live with it. I sent my email May 29 and haven't gotten anything, I was the 27BTC. I resent a PM today in case he lost mine. |

I sent my email May 29 and haven't gotten anything, I was the 27BTC. I resent a PM today in case he lost mine.
Yeah, considering he says the e-mail account was shut down, he's probably only able to go by PM's now. |

You must have skipped my PM because your way past that date. 2 New Pm's send after you said your Email was shut down (disregard first one). This guy PM's you with a big account and somehow he's getting a refund already.  I'm not even mad about being skipped over for the refund, I just would like to know you got my PM's, and agree with the amount. Thanks and keep Arbing.. |

How is this guy getting the funds to pay you guys back? I'd guess he's running another ponzi and you're getting another victims BTC. And to the guy who had 72 BTC in there...why?

Does it matter at this point??? We are past the point of possibly losing all our btc and at this point it's just all small ray of hope we can get our btc back. You're about 50 pages too late for the 'ponzi' discussion. |

I must say, I have been payed back a small amount as of Aug 4.. Really brought back a little confidence in things, only .06 but I did feel a little ray of sunshine and felt a little honesty increase in the human race altogether. Maybe soon something big will happen for the good for him and us...

Are these refunds real?
I have been waiting for almost two months and have sent three PMs to BTC-Arbs on June 18, July 7 and Aug 8. None of those have been acknowledged or responded to. It can't be that hard to send an acknowledgment that he has received the message and I am in some sort of queue. Any suggestions on what I should do?

Kudos BTC-Arbs keep up the good work.
To the ballers who lost big, my condolences. I got taken for 24BTC, back when BTC was $800, in a cloud hosting scam so I know the pain. At least arbs is chipping away at the total amounts.
On that subject, does any one know a good DOX person. I'm still hunting the cloud scammers and will split the 24BTC(minus the cost of travel to pay the scammer a visit he/she wont forget) if recovered. I have email threads & btc addresses. PM me info on DOX.
Again, BTC-Arbs, keep up the good work. I look forward to every bit of BTC I can recover.

I echo the request for simple acknowledgement, it doesn't seem like a lot to ask. btc-arbs could assign each request a serialized number as they are received, and then post here in the forum "I'm up to request number 58" or something like that. Waiting months and hearing nothing more than "I only have X number of pages of PMs more to go through" really isn't desirable, especially for those of us who emailed initially and then got pushed to the back of the line when email requests fell through. Kudos to btc-arbs for undertaking this, but s/he could be a little more humane about how things are orchestrated.

IMPORTANT UPDATE
a. Some stupid person got my refund email shut down. Probably the same person who has been sending threats and attacking the refund process. I don't know why people are fighting the refunds. There is nothing to gain. Everyone will be paid back. If this was a scam I would not be here and would not have repaid more than 100 bitcoins so far.
IF YOU SENT AN EMAIL AND DID NOT RECEIVE A REPLY SEND A PM HERE INSTEAD.
b. Right now there is only 1 page of PM messages that have no reply yet.
c. More payments sent.

Be patient and................................ wait ................................ Got a reply to my initial July 11th PM on Aug 4th. Responded with info requested on Aug 6th. Now I'll continue to wait along with everyone else. The fact that he's even here and making progress, small as it may be, and has not just skipped out with all our bitcoins in the first place....... Haven't received payment in a month. Awaiting my 2nd payment. The fall semester starts very soon I desperately need my btc.
I got my first payment on the 1st. I am thinking he is getting one round to everyone then starting over. The market is pretty flat lately so its probably a battle for him to get some out. I would look for some other school funding other than HYIP's next time. Best of luck |
