Myriad 0.11.3.1

This release introduces Yescrypt mining, changes the Myriad ticker to XMY and activates BIP65/BIP66.

1. Disables Qubit and enables Yescrypt mining.
Activates after block 1764000 (estimated early Aug) when 750 of 1000 blocks mined using 0.11.3. (Testnet block 300)
Forks from 0.11.2 clients.
 
2. Myriad ticker change
Changes from MYR to XMY to avoid confusion with Malaysian Ringgit.

3. BIP65/BIP66 activation
Activates when 750 of last 1000 blocks are mined using 0.11.3. (Testnet 51 of 100 blocks)
Forks from 0.9.x clients.

If you are currently running v0.9.x it is recommended to update immediately as there could be a hard-fork for v0.9.x versions at any time.
If you are running v0.11.x you should update before August.

Would be nice to see you imploment Dagger-hashimot algo on this if you are taking on ideas and still making changes and supporting other algos. As you already have many currently would be nice if you guys supported dagger-hashimot

It's a nice idea but is it possible to use the Ethereum hashing algo for the PoW of a Bitcoin-based coin, and do merge mining with Eth? If we couldn't do merge-mining, our hash rate would be so low that I think it would actually weaken MYR security.

I think the Myriad community will always be open to new ideas about PoW, but right at this time I can't think of anything better than what we have. Blake is nice too, but I'm not sure it's worth the trouble to add. 8bitcoder did mention on Reddit that he's been investigating Decred's hybrid PoW/PoS as a possibility. Before the Myriad community decided to swap Qubit for Yescrypt for the next hard fork, there was a lot of discussion for many months, as you can see on reddit.com/r/myriadcoin.

Digibyte also stuck on pre 0.10 code base and myriad on 0.11 . Weve have the better devs.

Got out of DigiByte long ago when stopped mining rigs and moved over to dagger type coins. And now days mostly trade for profit far less risky and energy used to trade. Still have my fair share of Myriad, reminds me I need to download wallet and update not used in like 6 months lol. Think I need dig out me wallet see what cobwebs remain in it.

Just checked me wallet last used in 2014 lmfao bit longer than a few months oh well didnt lose out on it as 200 coins reaming in wallet sold over half mill back then.  Price so low at moment would be nice see a come back for this coin.

I am holding around 160,000 MYR on poloniex

Will the ticker change from MYR to XMY on Poloniex too.

I am holding them at huge losses but still never sold them. May I know when the investors and coin holders could see some rewards for their holdings.
People are holding this coin for much longer periods than me and to see it remain so muted and undervalued is quite depressing for both the investors and miners.

I really hope the developers come out with some good price positive announcements. Because holding a coin for such a long with continuous depletion of value is very depressing.

if you wanna try for fun why not, try cgminer 3.7.3 with skein algo or qubits   or last sgminer (but little slower)

but if you really wanna earn something, better get a gpu r9 series for skein algo

The question I put forward is why invest in Myriad if dgb will do a copy of Myriad code. Instead have the developers drop this project and go work for Jared because a person who is capable of selling ice to Eskimos will get far more value from a coin then innovators
