For MYR coin -k qubitcoin
5870 - 2.86 Mh/s 5970 - 5.5 Mh/s Is this bad ? which miner is best for these cards ?
Which settings do you use? qubit and SPH-SGMINER https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=475795.0for Groestl i got 5870 - 12.75 mh/s 5970 - 22.6 mh/s but Groestl have onely one pool http://myrgroestl.stablehash.com/ with low hash and high fees 3% site looks suspicious any other active Groestl pools ? Your hashrate for your cards with qubit is very good, I suppose. I only have 2.6 with qubit with 5870. That is why I ask about settings. And there is only one pool with groestl. Nothing works right there but somehow they calulate some shares and pay them any way. my setting : memory clock 1300 and gpu engine 900 ,but qubit will not work properly for our cards so try Groestl .I got good result with Groestl .

Is there any word or plan in which direction this coin is going? I just love this coin but I don't know whats going on, there's no word from the dev for the future or did I miss it?
Well for now it's good that it's not that popular so I can get a bigger slice of the pie, but still it would be nice to know in which direction thing are goin with this coin. There is like 0 promotion....

Well just for reference, Vert came out of nowhere and did a huge rumble and pump and settled down for awhile, I think MYR has potential to do the same.

Vertcoin has a huge increase when marketing toward merchants use (digipay.io provided by moolah : for using coins in amazon). I have suggested 8bit (the myr dev) to contact moolah and he said me he had sent them an email. For moolah, to add a coin require a good community support : if we prove them that we have a valuable strong community, I think they will add it!

+1 the community has to take over. it's sure great when a dev sticks around, but there is actually no need. the coin is way bigger than its dev. that goes for any coin. since there is 0 premine, its a good coin for the community to get started and get organized. you can take part. don't sit there and let others do the work if you want stuff to happen. if you want to know how that could look like, go check out nxt for example. a lot of ppl are discussing, contributing and even funding new ideas and developments.

started mining qubit, seems to be very power saving, just like the other algos too. i'm getting 3mh for a 270. is this alright? which parameters are most efficient in optimising? thanks a bunch

For qubit on 6770 i'm using -g 8 -w 256, but on 270 these parameters can be not optimal - you must try yourself... After you find optimal -g and -w, play with intensity until you get highest stable hashrate (cpu can be overloaded on high intensity and you will not get optimal result).

welp I'm not a pr pro but I've managed to add the coin to 4 exchanges in 1 week, I've added some interesting features for the block explorer (including the profitability, yeah dude asking for the calculator go to the block explorer and see there) most of the big-ish exchanges have replied and have taken notive of myr, coinmarketcap added coinwarz said they are working on it, rome wasn't built in one day and it sure as hell going to take alot longer for the coin since except for a handfull of guys doin stuff to help me I'm kinda struggling alone (not complaining, I like it, just saying that it will take a little longer than for a coin with a big team around it).
SO... I'm gonna take the weekend off and regroup and start again next week. what to expect ? -fundraising for giveaways -we should also put up some funds for the faucet -been in contact with someone from the chinese comunity and will get the details for the coin translated and posted over the chinese boards (contra cost, if there is already someone here that is a fan of myriad and pro-bono work, as I am please step forward) -someone (very well known in the crypto comunity) has very big plans for the coin (custom miner, that's about all the details I can give since it's a very good but private idea) -guides to mining -hardware comparisons for algos -etc etc etc
there are plans, things are moving but most go unnoticed since the dev isn't announcing them, if you skim through the pages you'll see that I've given almost daily updates on my progress. anyway I like what I've read in the last 2 pages but I don't want you to think that the coin needs a comunity take over, it just needs a comunity , the dev isn't a pr guy, he's a dev so unless there is need for dev`ing there's no need for him either although I keep in constant contact with him and update him daily on the progress. any ways keep it up, we're gonna be noticed eventually.
