Today the long awaited Phase4 of Gulden’s PoW2 roll out activated. Along with a greatly improved chain efficiency and new features the update also increased the rewards for those running witness accounts.

https://guldenbites.com/2020/04/04/gulden-just-activated-highly-improved-blockchain/

What taking bittrex so long to update, want to withdraw more coins to witness

Bittex has a very large amount of transactions on their account, takes a tad longer for them to synch than for a regular user. They are on it. If not already finished. Trading is not affected. Just deposit and withdrawels.

The gulden blockchain has become too complicated for exchanges, money is meant to be easy and limited supply.

Yep, building rockets it too complicated. Let’s not head to the moon. Can someone please inform Musk!?
Actually the new Gulden chain is 58% more efficient, so that will help exchanges with lesser load on their systems.
Note: Bittrex’s wallet is up and running again. They supported Gulden from the beginning and still do. Very much appreciated. Thanks.

Nocks Announcement
After more than 5 years of service on the cryptocurrency stage, we’ve now got a huge announcement. Due to the renewed timeline revolving the regulations we have to make the announcement now, rather than our initial planning and timeline. Here goes. Nocks will close its doors and its team will move to a well-known and very reliable party within the cryptocurrency space. We’ll be able to communicate where the team is going at a later stage!
It’s a beautiful end to a long chapter and the perfect start of a new chapter. It’s also the end of an era. We’re very excited to join the team of the other company with their enormous user-base (and growing even bigger), large volumes and great team.
What does this mean for the Nocks services and what’s next?
It’s important to realize that we’ve *only* sold our Nocks exchange software and not the company. This way they can (eventually) offer their own stand-alone exchange platform and gain the in-depth knowledge of the Nocks team. The Nocks team will be available for a smooth transition and will join the new company for a fruitful and long-term collaboration. We’ll disband the Nocks company structure and we will cease to exist shortly after.
Important steps for you as a user:
· Withdraw your EUR before July 1st 2020 to your bank account or convert them to crypto before May 21st.
· Withdraw your cryptocurrency before July 1st 2020 to your coin’s wallet or convert them to euros before May 21st.
That’s easy enough, but if you still need help or have questions you can use nocks.com/support until July 1st 2020.
NCKS Utility
At the moment no decision has been made whether or not NCKS Utility will move to its new home. NCKS Utility is not part of the deal. We’re still discussing and contemplating what will happen to the NCKS Utility token. As soon as there is more information, we will share it with all of you of course!
API functionalities
All Nocks API functionalities and connections will stop working May 21st 2020. Meaning all apps and other third parties using our services will no longer work and will likely not be migrated.
Deposits, withdrawals and markets closing timelines
All markets will close and open orders cancelled on May 21st 2020. From then till July 1st 2020 only withdrawals will be possible and in case you haven’t guessed it by now, Nocks will cease to exist and go offline July 1st 2020.
This does have implications for you as a customer, please take appropriate measures beforehand.
Thanks for your time and if you have any questions, feel free to contact us via nocks.com/support and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Thanks for your time!
Kind regards,
Roel from The Nocks Team

I must give credit to Rijk and GAB, when I first heard the news I thought Gulden would shutdown because I assumed Gulden and Nocks was one but it's good to see the team is making other plans.

Removal off Nocks is good, it only had 100k Euro limit per person, large investors wouldn't be able to maintain a higher price. The coins price is ripe for pumps without the downside of people wetting themselves for 2% profits.

Try supplying them your Gulden address but it looks like your coins concluded it's journey on the 1st July.

How do I get in contact with them? I never bothered to check because I lost 90% value on my coins and using coinmarketcap to keep track. What did they do with everyones coins ? I can't be the only one.

I don't see this announcement on twitter, do you have a link or you talking lies?

Place bids under 70 sat to get a fair price if true.

I don't see too much complaining on slack, some guys are worried about the extra inflation in supply causing the price to go down but why would the price go down before the extra dev reward is in place?

Markets adjust before the event, when the reward is in place the price will settle where its going to settle.

The devs will make more money because the price won't decrease by 50% and the dev reward is doubling. This is a positive for development.

The negatives are for witnesses, holders,  investors and miners as they will get less. Traders don't care.

I am a big fan of Gulden and I have tried to promote it best I can, not only is the development very good from Malcolm and others but the support is also the best I have experienced with the cryptos I had in the past. Any issue gets fixed by the developers.
Not everyone likes Rijk but he is loyal to Gulden where other services have come and gone. We all thought Nocks would run forever but it's gone and the Gulden devs are still here and making progress.
The extra dev reward is used for new dex exchange that will be developed by the Gulden devs, we don't have to worry about 3rd party exchanges failing. We also getting electron wallet soon, not sure if we can witness and mine with them , still waiting for more details.

Bart did say 1.68 billion total coins will never be changed, we will get to the total supply faster or slower and they will lower the dev reward if the price goes up enough. The GAB makes this decision depending on the needs for Gulden.

Gulden total supply is 1.68 billion in 35 - 40 years. Eurozone Money supply is 13885325 EUR million

518 million NLG
vs
13.8 trillion EUR excluding the trillions in Derivatives.

Central banks around the world is pumping more money into the system every day at ever increasing rate.
