Earned my first reward Jean.Luc , thanks again for letting me know to keep the wallet open but future accounts I will still go for 220-250k. I will buy slowly over 3 months as I can see it does not take much btc to push the prices high and don't want to indirectly manipulate the market by buying 5 btc worth in small timeframe.

Nice! Glad it also works for you.
Maybe you want to try mining as well. It’s super easy to set up. In the same Gulden desktop wallet. Just choose to add a mining account , dedicate 4GB and go.

Gulden Euro price is the price I predicted after increase in rewards. It's safe to start buying these levels.

The dev funding is only temporary, the rewards will be 80 in the future.

50 mining and 30 witness.

Ok, the following is a quote from the blog Malcolm just released.

“We have always maintained that a blockchain that is secure, has stable block intervals, is robust and scalable, are the bare minimum requirements and that only with this in place does it make sense to build more user visible products and really push for adoption.”

Together with the recent news that Gulden is in the top 11 on node count, If people are still hesitant to buy into Gulden, I really don’t know what else could convince you.

Yep.,
And as expected, mining rewards are hodled for a large percentage. Looks promising.

Have you seen the Gulden mining distribution chart. About 260 individual miningaccounts. That's decentralized mining as Satoshi intended.

When you cater to poor peoples needs you get a poor persons value. I have nothing against poor people but Rijk as the leader of this crypto can't sit in his basement expecting investors to come knocking at his parents door.

Phase 4 next year?

Either November or early next year according to Malcolm.

Good to see this update is almost here. Took it from the dev posts last year.

SegSig

Advantages of Segregated Signature – The 58% factor:
1. 58% space saving on all transactions.
2. 58% increased transaction throughput. No block size or frequency changes needed.
3. Combined with our planned project Epoch, users will be able to run Gulden nodes on the most modest hardware well into the future.
4. Overhaul to the transaction script system which allowed us to implement PoW² and SegSig as clean as possible along with other benefits.

Post the 2.0 update a technical write up of SegSig will be

FYI its taken Ethereum 4 years to implement a full POS solution which is coming next year.

Gulden developers are fast and very underrated and under appreciated at these prices.

Digibyte has been saving on every block since 2017.

Jared is unique in the industry, good developer but also goes out and promotes digibyte with a humble attitude and is respectful to his community. The sat price is the same as Gulden with more then 26 times the supply.

The Gulden community is the same with Bart and Malcolm answering questions. Rijk was a problem which the GAB sorted out and he can focus on what he is good at, which is development and ux design. I suspect Rijk is working +16hr days to make Gulden work and doesn't have the patience or time to deal with the community.

Btc pairing bringing down the Gulden marketcap, if it was just Euro pairings the coin would be steady in price. Gulden performing well compared to other coins , moved up over 50 ranks on CMC.

Gulden is Rank 70 on CMC now from last weeks rank 74.  Just filter out the non-mineable coins. As you would filter on cars and not schoolbussen and trucks when looking for a new ride on eBay. 😘
Historically Gulden was rank 13. Let’s see if we can climb back slowly.

It was also explained to me the coins with * next to them are tokens that are 100% premined and coinmarketcap uses the entire supply for the coinmarketcap value. It would be easy to start a coin with a billion tokens, release 10 000 onto the market at $1 and the coin has a marketcap of $1 billion instead of $10 000. These teams will do anything to be on the front page of coinmarketcap in the hopes they make people believe it's a good project and yes they will catch many people out like this because this is what I used to believe too.

https://medium.com/coinmonks/ranking-cryptos-by-number-of-nodes-57a12e4ae51a

Great article, Gulden is top 10 in the world with amount of nodes but only 490 on coinmarketcap. Which shows that most coins and tokens only care about traders and not usability.
