I'm not a dev or anything, but I think Blake256 looks good, anyone mining Blake256 can secure the network of all Blake256 cryptos with merged mining. It seems to have a good concept but just hasn't taken off really. If I understand correctly, Simplicity of Blake256 algo makes it ideal for merged mining What would the downsides to using Blake algo be? I feel like if EMC2 made the move to Blake256, the network could be secured by every community that uses blake256. Seems like a good thing to me EMC2 could bring Blake256 to the top, and people would move there coins to Blake256 to be secured under the same network as EMC2, supporting the future of money. Love the community, looking forward to reinvesting my profits back to past epoch winners donation address's !

EMC2 coming to atomic-trade.com soon!
If true this would oddly be the most appropriate exchange for us. I Think it will happen before the weekend! EbBYw5V2ME2PjgGgQX5vzaQEq2KBrshvGx ByronP is the owner, has a feeshare set up to give 75% back to the ATP rewards program. I just sent him some EMC2 for testing, after making sure he was on the correct fork of course lol.

Unfortunately we can't do anything about this situation, we'd need to know the IP of the node sending those blocks, we can only wait and hope whoever is running that pool/p2pool gets his act together.

how high could emc2 get to this time?
Around 2000 satoshis is my guess based on a 61.8% Fibonacci extension, but it really depends on how you draw it and even if you believe in Fibonacci.

I picked EMC2 as my "Up and Comer" coin to host as a p2pool on http://p2pool.sawilson.org . 1 percent fee. Very low latency if you are on the east coast (check!). So if you are a big fan of p2pool mining like I am and you can't get a good ping to the tiny handful of EMC2 p2pool servers, try mine. can you confirm you are on the proper fork ? we believe a node that started today is still on the old fork. I will send you a PM as well. Thanks.

Be especially aware that going live on Crypsty almost ALWAYS spells a pump and dump...so trade with extreme caution.
Thank you for your reminding me The community if you are so carefully Enthusiastic people

Thanks. sorry for the multiple posts, but after looking through the "block found" history I see the node on wrong fork has been up since the fork at 56000 and most likely before that. this always seems to happen when I join P2P pools... that is why I always check now. Thanks.

Yeaaaa, If my buy order can get filled, that'd be greeeaaat.
I guess you are the one with the big order at 488, are you? Nah, I was at 575 for a while then lowered it to 576 where it got filled. I wouldn't put it in at 488 anyway, too low, don't want to see the price that far down anyway. Ok, so now I got enough emc2 to hold me over for a while, lets see some more price increases!

Correct, this is the latest version (protocol 70003 / version 80701).
