does anyone thing the fork will increase the value of this coin? I mine this coin most often but I'm mining something else that I think has better short term profitability right now, but I'll switch back to emc2 if it's a better investment right now for my miners.  |

This not question about short-term profit. Many people just buying EMC2 and hold for long-term. i remember in one day volume at Poloniex was ~140btc. since no sells such large volumes People hold, which means they believe in EMC2 |

EMC2 needs Brian Cox's support, then it will really come alive. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Cox_(physicist) Perhaps someone from Dev team (preferably with a Dr./Prof.  title) to send an email or something and ask. Maybe even get CERN involved, they did start the internet after all. |

Idk, something, but we can't be stagnant. And I know we have to be patient, i'd rather see slow growth, i get it. It just pisses me off so many people are giving white-coin attention. If they just rallied behind making a community for emc2, they'd see real profit.

Also, I cant seem to find it, i thought i saw it once....is there a ticker somewhere that shows how many coins are in the collection that will be donated?
Actually I see what i would assume would be it on the einsteinium fund page....but it says epoch 1 underneath it, not epoch 2?
Ive been watching it for a few mins, it seems it is indeed changing in value, but that seems like a lot of coins. Is this a combination of epcoh 1's coins and the ones so far from epoch 2?
To the web developer, when you get time, do you think you can try to fix it so it only shows the amount of coins currently collected for the current epoch?

On the coins, as a practice we are rolling over half from each epoch, the reason for this is to make sure later donations can still be effective from epoch to epoch, especially in case of halvings. This practice will likely continue until the coins value is sufficient. I have stated this in a previous part of the thread, but we understand it is absolute important we are being transparent.
I should note the developer has no interest in keeping the coins for himself. He will not even be managing the coins soon.
We do have a ticker of the wallet amount, our devs will post it soon.
In the case of the halving, one thing to note is it is impossible to determine the outcome. I am hoping the coin does better myself, and that is because the coins value is directly tied to the nonprofit's mission. It would be nice to fund some bigger projects down the line.

Hey Patient. We believe the community is growing daily. Were getting more followers on Twitter, Reddit and FB, but more could be done and is being done. As for the video, Ryan is actually in the process of making 3 videos. The first is going to be a intro into Einsteinium, the other two will be directed more in the directions of miners and non crypto but scientific lovers. Who really know whats behind the whitecoin attention, but sooner or later the smart money will flow into EMC2. Sexier.... I'm not so sure that science is that sexy.. you have any ideas on how we can make science sexy? Someone in the polo trollbox said to get richard dawkins on board to increase the sex appeal, lol. Idk tho, ill try to come up with someone. Thats great Ryan is working on those videos, any guess on when they'll be out? Are there any press-releases in the works for when our second donation is made? I've personally seen the work Ryan can do so I'm sure the videos will be nice. I'm not sure how long till there ready though. I'm pretty sure thought the first one should be ready soon. I'm also under the impression that we'll be doing a press release for each and every epoch winner and donation. Really not sure about those ads either  Got a buy n sell order there (Atomic Trade, since it's on previous page) 2 days now .. tumble weed, sadly. Tho the chat box seems to have a few folks chatting away, they seem to be there for the unknown coins not traded elsewhere. Seemed like a good fit for EMC but there were no orders there pretty much. EMC2 is holding nicely, great time to mine and stash a bit for when all this White Coin and various pumpy coins get hashed at a dump and Hashing returns to EMC2. |

If price remains at this level (aprox 600 satoshi), we lose some miners?
