Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Nope and certianly not bigger than Cryptsy, which we just got added too. With that being said, broad exchange support is important. Even the smaller ones can grow larger in time.

Added to cryptsy and price went UP instead of down in the first 6 hours! That tells you that you're on the right track.

I think the last few days cleared many of the dumpers not interested in the coin or the success of the foundation in the long term who had larger stakes off the table. As painful as yesterday was, it may have helped. It seems we are back to a steady growth cycle.

I think we need to remove voting for mintpal and cryptsy, and list them on our exchange list.

Also...remove cryptorush voting. We rather not have our coin holders and traders exposed to that risk.

I figured that I'd deposit the Einsteinium that I mined to my Cryptsy account before updating my wallet instead of having to back everything up (I know... lazy!). Anyways, it seems that my coins are floating around in limbo somewhere. Am I screwed... or is there a solution to this?  Huh

No, that's the normal at Cypsty.. Coins take forever to get there.  Remember trying to move some HBN over an it took 4 Hours!  The price was shot by the time it arrived.    There needs to be a massive move over to Atomic-Trade to get volume there.   Never had trouble getting coins to atomic-trade very very quick.
