Just as a matter of principle, I think x11 is the way to go... embracing a more eco friendly algo with less heat will be an overall good thing for a coin that is about science.

For the sake of devils advocate, ASICs also use substantially less power and should produce much less heat as well. Running gaming graphics hardware does seem like the future to me. Those are just my personal thoughts.

True... but you lose the community  with asics. With gaming hardware, and an algo that doesnt burn down the house and about half the electricity bills, you have a middle ground where everyone's happy.

This thread seems to be the main spot that a discussion about Einsteinium is going on so far.

I think we need to spread the message to people that don't visit this page Tongue

We should work on growing an IRC chat:

http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=#einsteinium

Also, let's try to get the Reddit page over 25 subscribers:

Reward Halving from block 7200 - how many days left on current difficulty to reach this level? regards
Diff does not matter, as it is recalculated every block so time per block is stable at one minute per block. There are around 5300 blocks left in this epoch so 88 hours left = 3 days and about 17 hours.

What do people see the long term price of EMC2 reaching? Anyone else this $1 is possible? If by total market cap it was to be in the top 5 coins - it would need to reach this. I think it's possible long term

I would love to not only the channel was filled with people, but our thread, exchanges with large volumes and many people which interested in EMC2.
Now we have 63M EMC2 total supply with 0.003201$ price for 1EMC2. Not too much coins has been mined, but slow growth, it is much better than the explosion and subsequent falling from a cliff (i mean latest bad news about Blackcoin)  Wink

Dennis, what news can bring to us bunch of people?

I want to spend some of my EMC2 stack. Its burning a hole in my pocket and I'm in a shopping mood.

If anyone is selling anything cool, PM me the details and we'll see if we can make something happen.

I'm looking for gold, silver, jewelery, watches, memorabilia, art, or anything else cool that would look good on display at my house.

It's closer to 69 million. I let coin market cap know of the issue.

Also we will be having the vote up very soon. Our web developer is working on getting it up and running.
