Thanks
Even with the latest fans with higher static pressures?
Any ideas how it can be done?

Personally, I’m not sure. I believe one of the cursed mining (YouTube videos) guys did a test with noctua and posted a video. That might be of some help... maybe search YouTube for antminer noctua? If you can’t find it, lemme know.

In your configuration, do you have your pool defined as 'zec-eu.luxor.tech' or do you have it defined as 'stratum+tcp://zec-eu.luxor.tech' (the log file output always presents it with stratum+tcp:// regardless of how it is set in the pool configuration)?

pool defined as 'zec-eu.luxor.tech

add stratum+tcp:// to the beginning please.. so stratum+tcp://zec-eu.luxor.tech:6666 -- I think that will resolve it.

Let me know.

1) APW7 should be good for up to ~960mV per board, however, the actual usage requirement will vary from ASIC to ASIC.
2) Potentially. 781-793 + 940mV should get you there, or pretty close. From there, you'd tune down the voltage on each board to optimize your power:hash ratio.
3) No. This is not a functionality of cgminer.

Ya know I thought we moved forward and quit the bs until today. It is like you want to keep it going and its pretty sad.

You do need to tell the people they dont get a license you only set it on your end for the miner to not mine in dev mode and you also need to let them know there is a bug in your setup that could mine them in dev mode accidently.

re: license, don't speak to things you have no clue about. the default images include a "license" already. I just activate them. You may think you know how my licensing works, but you don't.

re: dev mode, don't speak to things you have no clue about.

re: Other bugs, things happen, dev fixes them. Yay!

BTW, this is your 2nd post flinging poo today, so I have a song for you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=staSD9-wlRE !

fan control not working
2.3.1nh for Z11

Could you check the latest built again, I'm sure I'm not the only one with a problem. Fan control does not work. It works in automatic mode only. It cannot be set manually.

I understand. I will look into this. It is specific to the nicehash version and is the result of an unexpected change from bitmain. They have removed fan control from the user in their latest releases. I will see if o can add that back in.

-j

Is that fan issue fixed?

My *personal* math was 1Z9=4Mini when OC’d. It’s the fact that the Z9s came in and prevented me from getting 60k out of that that created the firmware to begin with. Smiley

The power:hash for mini and z9 are comparable as best my memory provides.

Is that fan issue fixed?

No, not at this time. The long and short of it is validation requires needing the ability to actually see/hear the fans during the testing (reading RPMs is not enough for a couple of reasons).

I have what I need to fix it (I think.. goes back to needing to test), just not validate it.
