If you are living in US, then yes, you probably won't find better deal. But if you are living somewhere else, for example in Europe, shipping those ASICs can be quite expensive and you might find better deal somewhere else.

It is getting more popular. I am still able to have people sell me coins at 80 satoshi though. We definitely aren't riding a pump. Price has been stable at 80 for a week. People are starting to realize we are close to being one of the top 20 cryptocoins. There aren't many steps left for us to get to that level. I would say that there is 1 big thing left:

- get more loyal miners. I'm not sure exactly how we do this...

The idea of getting a farmer in early on hempcoin who would then be a loyal supporter/marketer would be huge. They would get asked to do interviews and such. It would bring the miners to hempcoin as well as get the name out there in the public. I honestly don't even think the farmer would sell any hemp for hempcoins for a year or two. Miners/Investors just want to see this is real and going to work in the future before they invest this early.


I will just keep buying cheap hempcoins untill that happens.

maybe these reasons work:

- The best reason not to only support BTC is that "Satoshi" owns 21% of all BTC to ever be created. Who are they? Do you want them to rule the world if BTC is the only coin?

- Diversity. Diversity is good, right?

- BTC is most likely never going to change. A super majority of the hashing power will never upgrade their clients so no better fork for BTC will ever be created.

- POS+POW dual security layers.

- HempCoin can still make improvements before it is too big to change.

- Computers can handle 1 or 100000000000000 coins so why not?

- For investors: BTC is low risk low reward; new coins are high risk high reward.

- Support hemp in being decriminalized.

Oh yeah POS interest! It's the best. I don't think I get POS on my paper wallets. I am going to try taking a 100 day old paper wallet and see if it stakes two times when I load it into my hempcoin client.

So, I came up with the smartest idea today. So simple but so smart. It just appeared in my head.


From now on there is no such thing as "mining hempcoins". You can only "farm hempcoins".

mining => brute force smash attacking.

farming => planting the seed of change.


Could you please change "mining difficulty" to "farming difficulty" on the amazing block explorer next time your working on it?

I have THC, POT, CCN, CANN and maybe some others that I do not remember. I love all these types of coins. THC however is for hemp which is a big difference. THC is a nice sneaky way to be cool with teenagers but THC is definitely only for hemp. I like that about THC. It is unique and the only hemp coin.

I follow all of these coins and my advice on CANN right now is:
Get your cheap CANN in 4 weeks. This coin is currently crashing, has no software/hardware and has fallen out of favor with investors. (desperate internet trolls are trying to get you to buy their over priced coins if you couldn't figure that out yourself)

The best investment in this niche market of crypto right now today is 100% for sure THC. I am trying to invest into scrypt ASICs to farm THC. I think hempcoin farming with scrypt ASICs is your best investment. You can also just buy hempcoins if you want. You might find they are really hard to buy for cheap. It is only a matter of time before the farming difficulty goes from 3 to 100, investors start liking it more and there is a 20x price increase on THC. Imagine farming THC at difficulty 3 with your scrypt ASICs for a month and then BAMN! Price goes up 20x and you paid off your scrypt ASICs 10 times over.

Anon, yes. Chat, no. Chat isn't really a useful feature but anonymous transactions definitely is.
Chat features are just kind of a gimmick, they don't really add much to the value of the coin as a currency.

Anon would be great.  That is exciting news.

I agree with the in wallet chat, I don't see much usefulness in it, however...
I think an IRC channel would be a good idea though, it is a good way for people to come for quick answers instead of posting on the thread, I find it helps build up a community too.
#hempcoin is available.  a quick link to the IRC from the wallet might be a good idea if its easy to add.

having a block explorer in the wallet is a good feature too or a 'farming' calculator would be usefull too since it would show how profitable it is to mine hempcoin right now.
