I was able to sync wallet from start, syncing lasts couple hours (~700 MB). Basically, wallet got corrupted because of system crash I had.

Our team obtained many of the cryptocurrencies that were frozen on Cryptsy's servers when the exchange collapsed. The Heavycoin wallet.dat was among those recovered.

We are now in the process of giving these wallet files back to their respective communities. The wallet has not been inspected and it's unknown if it contains any coins. Unfortunately there's no sign of the devs for years and the community slowly died off.
From what I know there's not even a working node anymore

Somehow the people have a tiny hope that someday in the future somebody will take over and revive this coin, but until then it's useless and worthless, unfortunately.


I do have a working wallet and blochckain data until 46 weeks ago, it should be enough to check if the wallet in question has any funds on it.
If it's of any help I can either send you the blockchain and wallet, either I can get and check that wallet.dat


UPDATE: I received the wallet.dat file, it contains 10.6M HVC (!). Thank you MicroGuy. I will put it away and keep it safe (what else could I do?)

Random idea.

-phase one : turn it back on, i think it is just a matter of nodes, it was work fine, and CPU's could mine it ... bounty for 'master nodes' ... seeders

-phase two : a method of exchange ... bounty for Exch operator that takes it on board

-phase three : new devs, new project ICO ... stick with the democratic chain concept that HVC pioneered ... you're welcome DASH and DCR

-the old chain is claim check for the new chain

There are no nodes. Last time I tried I couldn't connect to the last known node.
And I have no idea what I could do and what's needed for a HVC node.

HVC was in sustain phase, I think. I don't remember very well which were the phases and if that affected the mining.

I will wait some more days, maybe somebody has a good one and if nobody else posts, I'll come back with a downloadable chain.
