Well, I personally prefer R/A (and double rebuys) over re-entries, just because it creates more action early and higher price pools, but I admittedly never understood the reason why sites got rid of them. I believe the Omaha Mix specifically lends itself to that format since equities run closer than in NLHE, so more flips (and coolers) happen and therefore more opportunities to rebuy. If it was up to me, I would shorten the time you can late reg but extend the time you can rebuy, encouraging people to actually play the game instead of sniping.
I think it could create a pretty decent price pool (250k+).

We agree with the idea of extending the rebuy period past late registration for the same reason. Thank you for the suggestions about this tournament. The series schedule is limited and there are always events we would like to add that may not make the cut, but we will include this in the discussion as the schedule is being finalized.

Isn't ETF staff? They usually have green text and are always promoting tournaments and time left to register.

When an official site representative is added they will be clearly marked as an employee and representative of SwC. Messages from any players in chat or made on any other venue are not official and they do not speak for SwC.

Does SWC own this site? Why can they control everything and remove posts?
Like the message says if you have an issue being moderated by a thread starter don't post here. Instead open up a "service discussion" thread or hell even "gambling discussion" thread to voice tour displeasure or thoughts in their service. This allows you to post an only be moderated should you violate the forums rules.

Also, at one point ETF had the same green text as HH.

No. We have attempted to make this as clear as possible. Higherhighs, nor any other player, represents or speaks for SwC. If they have given you that impression it was either a misinterpretation or a misrepresentation on their part. The only official messages from SwC will come from clearly identified SwC accounts. There are a few players that have green chat text but it is not an indication of any official position or authority. There are also other players that chose a custom chat color when that option was available for a limited time. If they have not changed their color since that time it will remain. For this reason chat colors alone are not used as a method to signify anything. Official accounts will be clearly identified as such; for example, SwC_Support is an official account used by support in chat.

I rubbed HH wrong and they said they were going to ban me, then I was banned from chat. If that is true, then why do you continually let HH act like they represent you in the chat. It has gotten to the point where people have issues and are asking if HH is there and talking to them about it. You could go in the chat right now and ask if anyone thinks HH is part of the SWC team and you will get a large I'm out of responses of people saying yes. If HH is fraudulently representing themselves in the chat why wouldn't you ban them so they wouldn't continue to do so?

Higherhighs, along with any other player, is free to send in screenshots of chat that they feel violates the rules posted. The decisions regarding whether this will result in a mute is then made by SwC management.
As we do not currently have a chat moderator present there have been a number of players that have assisted with this, and with relaying player feedback. But as always we invite all players to directly give us that feedback or message if they choose.
If any player has made comments with the intention of representing themselves as a part of the SwC team we would ask you to email support with a screenshot because this is not true and would not be allowed.

From the viewpoint of most players, Higherhighs does represent SwC in chat. Higherhighs is implementing chat policy changes dictated by SwC. Higherhighs is asking players about improvements to the site they would like to see. Higherhighs is making announcements for SwC. Higherhighs has a direct line of communication with SwC. SwC's actions and inactions create a public perception and this matters. Just saying that "Higherhighs, nor any other player, represents or speaks for SwC" does not make it so.

If HH is fraudulently representing themselves in the chat why wouldn't you ban them so they wouldn't continue to do so? "HH is part of the SWC team" that type of statement can be interpreted many different ways. By definition a team is: verb 1. come together as a team to achieve a common goal. "he teamed up with the band to produce the album" Similar: join (up) join forces collaborate get together come together So just in the example given by the definition, a person teams up with a band to create an album.......but that doesn't make the person part of the band. As I have said since the beginning of this, I volunteered to SwC to help them enforce their new rules they put in place months before I started helping out with anything, rules that were ignored and fought back against by some players. They did give me green chat to show their support for the perspective I was bringing to the chat box, and show their support for me. I am unpaid. I am not given any other compensation or benefits or incentives. I have no access to anything, and no authority on anything. I am just anti-abuse and was happy to help make a difference any way I can in what I perceived as the biggest problem holding SwC back from growth. I also notice that those who are disgruntled here, decide to share their stories with newbie accounts and without mentioning their screennames, so that their abusive actions for getting muted can remain a mystery to those reading. While seeking to attempt to push SwC back to a place where there is no accountability for actions. I am proud of SwC for making the drastic steps and changes necessary to evolve the past toxic chat culture of years into a completely new and much more positive environment in a relatively short amount of time. I am proud of them for standing up to bullies and abusers. I think the decisions they are making are going to promote long term growth, and that any short term blowback is primariily coming from a very small number of brutally abusive players/chatters. And it would not surprise me if 1 person is behind multiple accounts on this thread. I don't expect to be volunteering my efforts for that much longer, and look forward to just playing poker again, but until then, I am happy to 'team up' with SwC to promote a healthier chat culture and offer my help in any way I can.

This will be my last Bitcoin Talk response
lol. Anyways, I still don't care about the chat thing. I was wondering if now that leadership has apparently pivoted in their approach, if new games are still in development? Specifically shortdeck, NL27SD, 6 card PLO etc. are sorely missing. This would also enable some more interesting (bigger) mixes.

A bit more constructive advice from what I've seen lately: I understand the intention of spreading the MSBOP into different timezones, but I believe they should start closer to each other. Instead of trying to please everyone, I would consider what market you're trying to saturate/attract and then schedule the tournaments around that. There could still be 2 hour gaps in between, but that way you could play all of them if you really wanted and maintain somewhat of a sleep schedule. The goal then is to make the tournaments so attractive that people of other timezones wake up or stay awake for them. Aaand another thing that I have advocated for a long time for are SNG/tournaments on demand. Quick refresher: Who here remembers that PokerStars had the 180man SNGs that people used to fill their schedules with? Well, numbers eventually dwindled after Black Friday and games died but they figured out that they could get way more games to run, but with similar entrance numbers, if they made them on-demand. These start with with 12-18 players on Stars, but you could start them with 4 players (and lower guarantees) on SWC. Honestly, this should be the highest priority project when it comes to MTTs. No need to fine tune a schedule for different time zones if players can decide when they wanna start a game. It also fixed the embarassment of cancelled tournaments and de-clutters the actual scheduled tournaments. Basically fixes all your problems. Good luck.
