I'm interested in this but it looks a bit complicated and time consuming to set up. Is there a simple way to just set it and go for a certain market? Also, for a coin such at Ethereum on Poloniex, where it is constantly moving up and down at a very fast rate, what kind of returns could I expect from using C.A.T with it? Thanks.

set up a market is not complex. There are a lot of options you can use by "default".
C.A.T. works very good on markets with high fluctuations.

I just purchased this, if someone can help me get up and running that would be fantastic. I don't know how to work this thing very well and I have made about 0.00064 btc profit in 2 days, and therefore lost due to fees. How to set good paramters, what signals, that kind of stuff. I've got a couple btc to play with, if you can make me a nice profit I can give you half of it for a while.

Yes, exactly! Always stay on top of book orders buy/sell.

I think this is very important because what if the market goes up and I stuck on a "bad" buy order that is too low? I'd rather keep trading and on average I will still gain even if some trades lose, because I am making the market (the spread) between buys and sells, on average this will be at least 2%+ and sometimes the market will move my direction and I'll make much more. It will all average out.

It's just like sports betting - you don't win every bet. You just want to win 55%+, over long term, you will make more BTC this way. I don't care about 100% win rate. I will just end up having to manually reset the orders and it defeats the whole point of the program and I will just go back to manual trading. Nearly every day Cryptos move 10% plus and I don't want my orders getting left in the dust.  

It seems like it would be relatively simple to add, you have a lot of settings like this already?

Does anyone else agree? What would be "prohibitive" cost to add?

Was this ever fixed Sampey? Does anyone know?

The problem was for advanced market makers, if a currency moved against you and the "ping pong" would take a loss, it was permanently blocked from doing so, making you have to reset the order to start trading again.

Anyone knows "ping pong" will not profit 100% of the time, although it should be 50%+ if you pick the right coins.

It should be allowed to freely "ping pong" based on the market, not your last buy/sell.

Yes of course! You can set a NEGATIVE Gain (for example -10%).
It means that you accept a 10% LOSS.
If you set something like -500% you will always trade on TOP of book order.

We all know C.A.T is a great piece of software but against some of the stiffer (and heavier priced software) it lacks some functionality
like arbitrage and crossover trading.

Do you see these options as a potential feature in the future (whenever that may be).

And what guarantee do we have from you as our lead developer that you will continue your work.

Don't get me wrong, I love C.A.T. for it's stability and simplicity, but I think you there are many more features to be added before it will stand out against the competition.

Can you link me other bots with Arbitrage and Crossover Trading?
I don't have any problem to write these functions but i have never read about GOOD Arbitrage bot. I mean something that really works good.
This is because when you perform arbitrage, you must deposit funds on Exchange A and B (and C, D......). Another problem is that a market must be on more than 1 exchange, and this is not always true (of course it's true for LTC and some other major alt-currencies).

And what guarantee do we have from you as our lead developer that you will continue your work.

You have my words, because i can't give you more than that.
But my question is : about what piece of software do you have a guarantee about continue developing?
Actually i'm coding C.A.t. since June 2013, it's more than 2 years.
I Have release 40 C.A.T. version, i am always here to reply in the main topic and give support by PM.
I think this is a good guarantee.

Yes, probably, but i would like to know 2 things :
1 - The features that are on other competitors and not in C.A.T. or a BOT that have all the C.A.T. features + other more.
2 - A simple list of features. If they are good i won't have any problems to add in the next releases.
