question, is there any another multi algo for quark and qubit pool?, I only know this, I have set up as backup another pool but it is only X11, and X11 is not very efficient lately
I prefer yaamp of course, but, just to have a backup for situations like this.
Nicehash/Westhash has both qubit and quark and has been more profitable than yaamp for the last few days.
I really hope more multipools follow the example of YAAMP and NiceHash and provide APIs that allow to quickly find the most profitable one (all praise StuffOfInterest and KBomba for MinerControl :-)).
As far as I'm concerned, a pool that refuses to publish this information does so because it *knows* it is less profitable than the others...
I agree, pools should post current estimated payout.
However, if they are not accurate, then they might do more harm than good.
From my experience Nice/West published rates are quite accurate, while YAAMP has a very wide degree of variance from published rates.
Perhaps sites like poolpicker should verify these published rates vs. merely posting that which is given.
yaamp's tech, as well as any tech where coin shares
get exchanged and paid out long after the moment they were mined,
simply cannot give accurate profitability estimates, no way.
nicehash pays in real time, that's unbeatable, sorry yaamp.
Right, it's easier for Nicehash because they simply sell your hashrate. They know exactly how much you make, before you even start mining.
YAAMP can only do estimates based on previous earnings. I haven't figured out if it's better to use the 24h estimate, or do an average of the current one over a few hours... But varying data is still better than no data at all...
AFAIK, Poolpicker isn't maintained anymore: the owner asked for people willing to buy the domain a few months ago.
