I always thought Bitforex was KYC, I guess I have my list of exchanges I usually stick to.

they have KYC but unlike poloniex ($0.00 USD daily limit if no KYC), in those two exchange you can buy/sell, deposit/withdraw. although i don't know how much is allowed for no KYC accounts.

<...>
I don't think that will be easy to do, especially with a coin that doesn't have a gui or windows wallet yet.

It is my impression that this is deliberate. Don't ask me why. Reasoning can be quite divergent.

It certainly could be. Maybe they're trying to keep the noobs away since it's beta quality software a this point.

They are working on the windows wallet.  Bitgrin guys already grabbed the code and released it.

@kingcolex. More people will want to mine and hold Grin in 25 years once it reaches a high level of adoption which it was designed to do and once inflation is under 5%.

Bitcoin's monetary policy incentivizes hoarding. This restrains adoption. Grin's monetary policy might push the price down in the next 25 or 30 years, however this encourages circulation of the coin and spending. This facilitates adoption.

I reckon its developers learned what's good and bad for a cryptocoin and copied the good parts.

I'm just started to learn about Grin today. This was the first time I heard about it. And as I see there is a lot interest towards this coin from the community. What are the main advantages of this blockchain and why everyone is so excited about it? The price of the coin also makes me astonished...

Me too.
I used Crypto Bridge to buy shit coins when they dip, and take profits later.

What's happened with you and Coinbase, Kraken?
Did you get their bad supports to claim fork coins, or anything else?
Quote
I got fucked by Coinbase during the bullrun and same with kraken so they can go to hell in my book.

The logo suck me what a terrible they have it need to get changed. Supply of this coin is still increasing so it will become big challenge for this to get stable on current price. I have some coins but waiting to see when it will get listed on big exchanges.

I don't think the logo matters much, make a different one and the devs might slap it on their post, it is open source.
It is not too bad with original avatar of Grin coin, that makes me laugh a lot.
Projects always can rebrand or redesign their avatars.
Later, when Grin coin team feel that they have to redesign it, they will certainly do it.
For now, I feel fine with Grin coin's avatar. **

As a matter of fact, yesterday I was surprised to find withdrawals disabled on Hotbit, Bittrex & Poloniex.

There are rumors about asics have been implemented. https://www.reddit.com/r/grincoin/comments/ar9fus/c31_already_has_asics_on_it/

If this is true, which seems highly, it will effect price negatively.

It is interesting to see such speedy listings for Grin Coin and amazing supports from former biggest exchanges, Poloniex, then Bittrex.
They all actually realised the big potential of Grin coin.
By saying about potential of Grin for exchanges, I implied about the coming trading fees from Grin coin.
The coin has high demand from community, so in long term it will contribute significant trading fees for exchanges on which it got listed.

After almost a day mining cuckatoo31 with bminer 15.0.0 it seems the rejected shares run around 15%, so the actual poolside rate is 0.6-0.65 G/s. Someone else will have to answer the 2080ti question.

All my cards (GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming with crappy fans) report 8GB+ of available memory. But again, running on Ubuntu, not sure how those numbers are on Win. I can confirm that Vegas are still not supported by bminer for cuckaroo29 on Win.
