India has given a huge target of 212 runs. Since the Indian players have performed in their IPL a few days ago. And so it is natural that they will play well in the T-20 format now. And India scored 211 runs losing only 4 wickets. Ishan Kishan scored 76 runs off 48 balls. Captain Pant made 29 off 16 balls and Pandya made 31 off just 12 balls. It is very difficult to win by batting on such a big-run target. But not impossible. Because, this pitch is batting friendly. So if Indian bowlers don't bowl well, they won't win.

In such pitch it is hard for the bowlers to perform good. India maintained the run rate around 10 throughout the match. Now South Africa too does the same, but it have lost the top order batsmen De Cock, Bavuma and Pretorius. Fall of few more wickets will increase the pressure as run rate seems to fall as score have reached 82 runs in 9 overs.

South Africa scored 126 runs in 13 overs. They lost three wickets. Dussen and Miller, now at the crease, are very experienced players for the T-20 format. 86 runs needed to win from 42 balls. If Miller and Dussen can stay at the crease then I still think South Africa can win the match. But if these two players are out in the next 2-3 overs, the match will be completely controlled by India.

I did not think that India would lose even after giving a huge target of 212 runs. India has used 6 bowlers today. With the exception of Avesh Khan, all the bowlers gave more than 10 runs per over. Pandya bowled one over and he gave up 18 runs. South Africa scored 200 runs in just 18 overs.

van der Dussen scored 65 off 41 balls. And David Miller has scored 64 off 31 balls. The performance of the top-order batsmen was not good. Dussen and Miller's remarkable partnership helped South Africa win easily today.

There is none to be blamed, and it is the responsible middle order Van Der Dussen and David Miller who have made the winning for South Africa. Lets wait what's gonna happen in the upcoming matches. Well... forget about it. India vs Pakistan is not going to happen for some time. No possibility of a bilateral series exists for another 10-15 years. At the most, we can have a few matches here and there during the ICC tournaments. And talking about such tournaments, one is just around the corner. The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 is about to start in 4 months from now. And the good news is that India and Pakistan are placed in the same group for the Super-12. So at least one match is guaranteed during the tournament, and there is a possibility of more.

Harshal Patel usually bowls well in depth overs, but he completely failed this time along with Axar Patel. Yes bowlers did some mistake but there was some serious problem with the Rishabh's captaincy overall, like using Chahal in powerplay instead of Axar and pulling out Chahal in middle overs.

To be honest, India was a little overconfident. They had posted such a big total on the board that they thought they don't need to worry at all, but they were so wrong. SA played really well to win this match. And there were some very obvious mistakes in the captaincy of India. India really failed to do anything in the bowling department.
