This time Tim David and Kieron Pollard failed as well. Anyway, good to see Venkatesh Iyer back in Kolkata Knight Riders playing XI. He got a good score today, but didn't got an opportunity to bowl. He is a genuine allrounder, but I don't know why the captains don't want to give him the ball. Maybe they are afraid that one day he will be able to replace Hardik Pandya.

Currently, these both teams are facing some serious trouble in batting but still today KKR able to have good target off 166 even this was achievable but still the worst MI completely fail to give any impact with seven players out on single digit and just one player I Kishan able to reach at some reasonable score of 51 and other three out on just 12,15 and 13 is never been ideal with this defeat now most chances they will end at bottom in this season because they are surely currently the worst team in this season like we have CSK and RCB few seasons back.

Even KKR were also not good but still few players are giving some good for their team, and they have few crucial wins which are good enough for them in this season.

And before Cummins cleaned up the lower middle order, it was Andre Russell who finished the upper middle order. The spinners (Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy) were very economical. My only disappointment is that Venkatesh Iyer didn't got too many overs. He bowled just one over. I don't know why these people are not fully utilizing him. He has great potential with his right-arm medium pace.

I think t20 Cricket is very important for almost all the bowlers to get wickets but the spinners still have to do their main job which is bowling really economically, and in this match, they have done that. Normally in T20 cricket, we don't see too much coordination between the bowlers. and we also don't see too many bowling spells bowled with coordination. but it was good to see that in this match it was there.

Doesn't matter who wins today, as both GT and LSK have qualified for the next round. Both teams have played before on March 28, 2022,
and GT won by 5 wickets (with 2 balls remaining). Another victory here by GT will give them a psychological edge over LSG in the next round. Its very hard to predict who will win todays game as both are of same level.

The existing teams had the luxury of retaining players, while the two new teams had to purchase star players from the auction at inflated prices. Look at the case of players such as Hardik Pandya. He was dropped from Mumbai Indians due to poor form, and Gujarat Titans purchased him for a price of ₹150 million. At the same time, Mumbai Indians retained Kieron Pollard for just ₹60 million.

However, in the previous two matches of this match, Mumbai has played very well and won. Delhi lost all their wickets for just 117 runs against Chennai. Hyderabad scored 125 runs against Bangalore. Due to such irregular performances of the teams, I have lost bets in several matches.

One thing that I like about Lucknow is that they have got a very good team balance. Only shortfall I could notice is with the captaincy. KL Rahul is not the perfect captain material. Both their veterans (Quinton de Kock, Dushmantha Chameera, Jason Holder.etc) as well as the rookie players (Krishnappa Gowtham, Mohsin Khan.etc) have performed exceptionally well this season.

They are coming on the back of four wins and Gujarat is coming on the back of two losses. so I  obviously think that the momentum is with Lucknow.  and I also agree that KL Rahul is not the best player to be captaining aside. MI also bought Ishan Kishan for over 15 crore, don't know who gave them suggestion to buy him at such high price. Meanwhile match is underway between LSG and GT. Its a good tight start from LSG as GT have scored 35 runs in 6 over but important thing is they have lost saha and wade. To win the game GT need to score over 160 runs.
