Pakistan's national team is declining day by day but their women's team is improving. Today they are playing against the West Indies women's team. West Indies gave Pakistan a target of 211 runs. Pakistan lost 3 wickets and scored 146 runs. They need only 63 runs in 14 overs. I think, Pakistan will get an easy victory.

Pakistan won by 4 wickets. But I would be cautious before reading too much in to the results, because women's cricket is almost non-existent in Pakistan. As far as men's cricket is concerned, there are millions of players in Pakistan. But how many women play cricket there? I am very sure that the number may be a few hundreds. That means that the player pool is much limited. Also, I don't think that the domestic women's tournament is much developed in Pakistan. At least in this regard, West Indies is at an advantage.

You can't compare women's cricket to other women's sport such as football, basketball and hockey. For the ICC, the primary concern is revenue and not the popularity of the sport. As long as the revenues remain low for women's cricket, neither the ICC, nor the national cricket boards are not going to take it seriously. CA, CNZ and ECB are forced to give more attention, because of the gender equality laws prevailing in their countries. But for Asian nations, I don't see any improvement in the situation in foreseeable future.

I might be wrong but Imo and observation Strac lost all his mojo after Sand_paper_gate_saga. I noticed him struggling numerous time after his South Africa's stint. He might still able to give match winning spell once a while which everyone witnessed in last T-20 match against Windies but its clear that he's not same the Starc.

It may or may not be due to the sand paper scandal. But for the last many years, his form has remained poor. As you mentioned, once in a blue moon he performs like a world class bowler. But on majority of the occasions, he is quite ordinary. But the problem for Australia is that he's still their best bowler. This is not the Australian team we had one or two decades ago. Perhaps Mitchell Johnson was their last world class bowler. After he retired in 2018, Australian bowling has struggled, especially in pace department. Also, Starc used to perform well when he bowled in tandem with Mitchell Johnson.

Yeah, 2 back to back Border-Gavaskar Trophies failure, dropped from the ashes in 1 match, i guess. Kinda declining after his stellar performance in the World cup, although he did excellent job against Kiwis in 2020 home series but again New Zealand is their Srilanka.

I think Cummins would come back soon and then it should be okay overall.

Pakistan is potential candidate for the next WTC finalist, if they get their shit together. Their fixture seems easy in this cycle.

Don't know anything about the Pakistan women cricket team but I do agree with you about their men National team. They are very few or no consistent players left on the Pakistani side especially bowlers. Once this nation had produced some of the best seamers in the world and still there is a lot of potentials out there but the corrupt board has ruined everything. They are one of the highly inconsistent sides and in the coming world cup, they will perform the same way as they have done consistently.

Pakistan is potential candidate for the next WTC finalist, if they get their shit together. Their fixture seems easy in this cycle.

Right now, Cummins is their best available bowler. Starc is getting more and more wayward. Starc/Cummins is not the right bowling combination, because both of them rely on raw pace rather than good line and length. One better alternative would be Starc/Hazlewood or Cummins/Hazlewood.

IMO, I would rank the teams like this for the T20 World Cup:

1. West Indies
2. India
3. New Zealand
4. England
5. Australia

I have given a higher ranking for India, because I guess they will be able to adjust with the conditions in UAE/Oman better than the other teams.

India does have strong team and excellent bench strength but i think this is our great weakness too because Virat & co is going mess up things with their combination on key encounters and its going to hurt their campaign, semis seems achievable but after that? Don't know.

T20 World Cup 2021: India and Pakistan to face off in Super 12s. ICC is smart enough to keep the two rivalry together in the pool so that they don't miss out on the most hyped match.  Its is almost more than two years when these two teams will meet in an international arena.

Don't know anything about the Pakistan women cricket team but I do agree with you about their men National team. They are very few or no consistent players left on the Pakistani side especially bowlers. At one time the best pace bowlers in the world were in the Pakistan squad. It was very difficult for any team to win against Pakistan. The pace bowlers retired but the Pakistan team remained stable when all-rounders like Afridi and Hafeez were in their squad. Now there is no one else in the team except Babar Azam, an experienced player who has consistently performed well.

UP elections are coming up and their agenda is development and national security. From ground reports, narrative going okay for the BJP as far as development or gunda raj (On national security, well they are not congress and very unpredictable so its their plus point) is concern in UP despite many major quackery at the national level so they don't need any faltu dramabaji over this, they are upping their game anyway and historically in IND vs PAK series main roadblock was Shiv Sena but their plates are also full nowadays as they are ruling Maharashtra so even they won't bother over 1 game. Some dumb fuck trolls would do their thingy but we all know everyone would watch the game like a teenager lol.

When it comes to T20, you cannot predict the winner easily based upon past performances and specially when it is about India & Pakistan Match, no team is weaker on the day. Not sure the match will be one sided or competitive, but one thing is for sure that they hype will be unstoppable.

It is a rare event we see matches between India and Pakistan and World Cup is the only place they face each other and that is the hype they are getting whenever they face each other, i am not a fan of mixing politics with sports and ICC should take some strong position on this which is highly unlikely .
Pakistan started well against England and if they can set a good total then we will see an entertaining match up, anything around 8 runs per over England will easily chance them.

Pakistan will always surprise you with their performance or with the lack of performance and they are well known for that and the match is really interesting as England lost 4 wickets chasing a score of 233 runs and Liam Livingstone and Eoin Morgan are in the crease and if Pakistan could pick one more wicket here they can put pressure on the batting line up as the run rate keeps on increasing.

Edit: Eoin Morgan is gone and England still need 12 runs per over and it looks like an impossible task but who knows what happens in the end .

At one moment i thought England will win the match when Liam Livingstone was batting. 233 was a big task which every team would have struggled to chase.
I wonder how many people would have lost their bets because England was the favorite.
