It is hard to believe that Pakistan is on a verge of victory as England lost 9 wickets and there is no way they are going to win the match but the only positive for England is Liam Livingstone and his wonderful century and if anyone could have accompanied him England could have a chance to win the match but sadly the rest of the England batting line up was a disappointment and a surprising win for Pakistan.

Anything is possible with such an unpredictable team like Pakistan. For me, the outcome of the match was never in doubt, after the first wicket partnership between Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam added 150 runs for Pakistan. The match was essentially decided at this point. Some good power hitting by Fakhar Zaman, Sohaib Maqsood and Mohammad Hafeez towards the end helped Pakistan to set up an imposing target. It was never going to be easy for England, given the star studded pace attack of Pakistan.

Well... T20 format favors unpredictable teams such as Pakistan and West Indies. That said, the credit for yesterday's win should go solely to the batsmen. Without such an imposing total, Pakistani bowlers could have struggled to contain the England batsmen. The required run rate was almost 12 runs per over, and for the inexperienced England batsmen, it was a tough task. The big question here is whether Pakistan can perform well against the regular England players. What will happen in case the regular bowlers such as Sam Curran, Chris Jordan, Chris Woakes and Adil Rashid are available? The England XI for yesterday's match was more like a second string side.

That's the Pakistan team for you. They might bundle out for 200 in an ODI and make 232 in a T20 game, being unpredictable and unreasonable are things associated with them. I don't mind such teams because a similar kind of team is West Indies and it's fun to watch such teams play, they might lose to a bottom team and may make the top teams look average.

I actually feel the Pakistan team is most consistent in Test matches because the game goes for longer periods and they have a very stable team for test cricket. For shorter formats, they just need more reliable players than flashy ones.

If Pakistan's top order batsmen can maintain the continuity of their first match performance, they will undoubtedly win the series. But the main problem is that none of their players are regulars. Moreover their bowling should be made stronger. I have seen this Pakistan team consistently perform well in very few matches. They have a lot of talented players but there are not enough players in the squad to perform well on a regular basis.

Pakistan won against England by 31 runs in first T20I match, a nice comeback after losing the ODI series. Shaheen Afridi took three wickets, but there is still room for improvement for the spinner. This team has a good chance of getting T20 series by their name if they maintain same persists. Everyone seems to know their role. It will be interesting to see if they continue to perform the same way in their batting, bowling, and fielding.

Agreed, the opening lineup gave a good start and the same is taken forward good by the rest of the players. If pakistan had scored around 200 runs, then England could've experienced little pressure and might've build up the score according to that. The additional score had increased the pressure and made the players unable to create partnership. Finally the last T20 is going to be very interesting, because Pakistan will try to win the series whereas England will try to draw the series.

I think the ECB was more concerned about giving opportunities to a few younger players before the squad for world cup is announced, rather than trying to win the series. And unlike the ODIs, the ICC has not established any league for the T20 matches, so they don't face any issues even if they lose the series.

Pakistan usually do not surprise us twice in quick succession but i would like to see whether they can do that and the match depends upon Babar Azam and if he performs then Pakistan will have a fighting chance and if they can once again get a good start and then go on to score above 200 runs or chase them down Babar Azam has to play the anchor role in taking the team to victory.
