What do you mean by exceptionally well? I guess they have to, they are playing with Zimbabwe and not with a top team. They have to win all the T20 matches otherwise they will lose their T20 ranking and land below zimbabwe. There is nothing exceptional about the matches played and won by Bangladesh with Zimbabwe in the past series. The T20 series might be a tough one for Bangladesh.

Once again, Zimbabwe wasted a good chance and ended up with a mediocre total (152 all out). And as expected, Bangladesh has started well. I am getting really tired with this Zimbabwe team. I lost the count of occasions where they wasted good beginnings. After 10 overs, Zimbabwe were at 91/2. Can you believe what happened after that? They made 62 runs in the next 10 overs, after losing 8 wickets. This is beyond pathetic. The middle order folded up without even attempting a fight. Do we need such teams in international cricket? Really feel bad for Blessing Muzarabani. He is wasting his talent in this shit team.

Anyhow the ODI win shows the progressive move of Ireland compared to other teams in its slot.

It was very disappointing from Ireland. I was watching the match live on Fancode, and at one point they had South Africa struggling at 58/5 in 10 overs. And after 15 overs, South Africa were at 85/5. But in the next 5 overs, South Africans managed to score a total of 74 runs. The last over alone went for 24 runs (4 sixes by David Miller). If the target was kept to 130-135, then Ireland could have won the match. But 160 was a bit too much for them, especially against a bowling attack that included Lungi Ngidi and Tabraiz Shamsi.

Apart from 2-3 players such as Blessing Muzarabani, Sikandar Raza and Brendan Taylor, the rest of Zimbabwe squad is not up to a level that is skilled enough to take part in international cricket. If they perform this bad when playing against Bangladesh, then you can imagine what would happen when they take on some of the big 3 teams. ICC needs to rethink on their Zimbabwe strategy. $12 million in annual funds poured in to Zimbabwe every year for the last two decades haven't given any returns. If a fraction of that amount was given to associate nations such as Nepal or PNG, then they would have performed much better than this.

Zimbabwe should fight hard but how can they change the situation? what motivation bring out a change in their attitude, they are in trouble with batting, balling and fielding. Likely never and ever and we continue to see them a losing side. Bangladesh can continue to dominate rest of the matches and hopefully BAN maintain the attitude with their upcoming series against Australia.

COVID19 cases are rising in Bangladesh and knowing the Australian cricket board they can change the decision anytime. There is nothing wrong if CAB cancels the tournament as players from South Asian countries have been found not following the rules and most tournaments have got cancelled in the past because of the mishandling of this COVID19 situation by the boards. The government of Australia does not want to take any risk and the board has to follow what the government dictates.
