Prithvi Shaw went for a golden duck and it is sad to see that he is struggling against swinging deliveries at the start of the innings, hopefully Sanju Samson will make use of this opportunity and make a huge impact so that he gets a place in the upcoming T20I World Cup squad because the competition is getting tough as there are many talents waiting for a chance to perform and my bet is on India to win.

You cannot complain the bowlers, the pitch was not giving any assistance and you cannot expect any wonders from a flat pitch made for batsman, Zimbabwe scored 193 runs and the Bangladesh bowlers were at the receiving end and you could only slow down the run score by mixing up slower deliveries and i thought Zimbabwe would win the match because Bangladesh lost the earlier match with a much lower score to chase but Bangladesh played well in this match chasing a huge total.

I understand that the pitch was offering hardly any support for the bowlers. But the way Zimbabweans bowled as appalling. I was watching the match live, and I was horrified when Wellington Masakadza gave away that wide, which went for a boundary. Then the captain made a mistake by not asking Blessing Muzarabani to bowl earlier. The Zimbabweans gave away too many wasteful runs. For them, this was a golden opportunity to get a series win. Now they need to wait for a couple of years to get another chance.

Shamim Hossain has done the main job for the win of Bangladesh. As an youngster and a middle order batsman his performance was outstanding. Where, Soumya is an experienced and opening batsman. So, it was the responsibility for Soumya to play an innings like this. Zimbabwe had given a big target and Bangladesh is not familiar to chase a big score like this in T20 game. However, Bangladesh has managed to win the match and series too.

It seems that Bangladesh has got a suitable finisher batsman for T20 format. Shamim Hossain's performance and playstyle fascinated me. He is talented enough and a very aggressive batsmen. And he’s good enough as a fielder as well. On the other hand, Soumya Sarker is in good form now. If the top order batsmen perform well, winning the match becomes easier.

Their team has aggressive players like Padya and Samson. Those who perform tremendously in the IPL. 164 runs is not enough to win a T20 match. Indian bowlers need to bowl well today.

With the start they had they should have score well above 180 runs but they struggled once again in the middle over where they lost wickets is succession and affected the momentum but that score was more than enough for India to win. I wonder what would be the situation of Sri Lanka if their top bowlers are back in the team.

Hardik Pandya is back in the team after the long time and may be he is not fully fit or lost touch, he needs to play warm up or domestic matches to return to form.

164 is an average score. This is an easy chasing score. However the bad performance from Sri Lanka have given a win to India. India need to improve its performance on both batting and bowling, whereas Sri Lanka needs a very big improvement. When this score can't be chased, then it'll completely make the fans and people of Sri Lanka have a a hatred over the team.

A player can't be given unlimited number of chances, just because the selectors favor him. There is an oversupply of talent within India, and giving unlimited chances to a player such as Hardik Pandya is unfair to the other young aspirants. Anyway, I am also not in favor of immediately dropping him from the squad. Apart from the T20I series, the IPL is also in the horizon. Let's see how he performs for the Mumbai Indians in UAE/Oman. If his performance is satisfactory, then I don't have any issue with giving Hardik a permanent slot on the T20 playing XI.

Hardik Pandya is not used as a bowler for a long time because he was not fit enough to ball even in T20 and after a long time he is bowling and it dead wickets we cannot expect him to ball well after a long time, i like his aggressive batting style and with a small frame he is able to clear the boundary but he is struggling throughout the series and since India have a long list of young talents waiting for the opportunity Pandya needs to give way until he regains his form.

I don't think 130 runs is enough to win a T20 match. Because collecting 130 runs from 120 balls is not a difficult task. If the wicket is not taken very fast then any team can collect 120-130 runs from 120 balls. In today's match too, the Netherlands collected only 22 runs in the first 6.3 overs. They managed to score 137 runs in 20 overs.

Agreed. He has been out of form for quite sometime now. He should be given more chances in the future though since he is a high quality finisher and picks up wickets now and then.

But second t20 match which country would be winner please mention your comments.

I would be shocked if Sri Lanka actually manage to win the 2nd T-20 since some of the Indian batsmen actually under-performed in the 1st one. I don't think that will repeat in the 2nd one.

Sri Lanka threw away golden opportunities in both the ODI and T-20 series basically so far.
