Spinners like Yadav and Axar demolished their batting line-up in this match and Hetmyer is the only one hanging on as you mentioned. They performed way better in the ODI series in comparison.

The kind of dominance Australian women team have in Women's cricket, it scares me really. They are miles ahead of Indian Women team, we all would love to witness some upset but it would be fool's errand against the aussie.

I am watching the final and India Woman's fielding was simply outstanding and the couple of catches were one of the best i have seen in Women's cricket. Set a target of 162 to win the Gold by Australia, but it is going to be a difficult chase as India lost both the openers.
One interesting thing i saw is that, Tahlia McGrath tested positive for COVID and she was allowed to play the match. How soon things are changing when you are COVID positive and yet i am living in a place where mask is compulsory even when you are travelling in car .

India played the series against West Indies with full confidence and they won the series easily. West Indies won the T20 World Cup in 2016. They are definitely a good team  but they managed to win only one out of eight matches against India this time. They lost both of the series by a wide range. India will be able to increase their confidence for upcoming T20 World Cup by these series.

Both Indian mens and womens team played yesterday while the mens team won their match easily after putting up a formidable total and the Indian bowlers being tricky to score runs off of. Indian women's team were in the Commonwealth Games Gold medal match against Australia. They were cruising their chase up until they lost Jemimah Rodrigues who had put together Harmanpreet Kaur for a partnership of 96. India collapsed after that like a deck of cards and never managed to keep up with the required rate. Silver medal it was, for the Indian womens team.

I do not think that Kohli will get dropped soon and not until the T20WC. BCCI will still hold on to him and so will Rohit Sharma because of the huge experience he carries. In case he performs well in the Asia cup and in the WC then he will stay with the A team for a long time. Indian have now good a pool of good batting talent and bowlers. They will be shuffled and will be given equal opportunity. I think Shikhar Dhawan might not make it to the Indian A team for the upcoming tournament.
