The biggest attraction in the Asia Cup is India India Pakistan.However, Pakistan are in great form in the current stats and they are very optimistic about Babar Azam in particular. This young player is currently in very good form. On the other hand vitat khohli already off form since 2019 ....so I support the Pakistan team as the driven seat in the Asia cup cricket world cup.

The tracks in UAE are likely to be flat, and may offer some support for Pakistani bowlers such as Shaheen and Naseem. But Pakistan is very weak in the spin department. So there is a good chance that in the middle overs they may struggle to contain the Indian batsmen. India on the other hand are having a very balanced team. They are equally good in top order and middle order batting, as well as in spin and pace bowling. On top of that, I have a feeling that Pakistan is overdependent on two players - Babar and Shaheen.

The first match of the 5-match T20 series between Ireland and Afghanistan will be played today. Ireland's batting line-up is very strong. We got proof of this in their last series. On the other hand, Afghanistan's spin bowlers can be said to be one of the best in the world. They have great bowlers like Rashid Khan in their squad. So this series is expected to be very competitive. As Afghanistan players are more experienced than Ireland. So maybe the Afghanistan team will win the series.

The only thing that I don't like about Asia cup is that there are only 6 participants. They could have included two more associate teams.

I think this asia cup is more about the India and Pakistan matches rather than anything else. One of these two teams will be the winner of this season but as of now it's hard to pick one of them to be the sure shot winner.

Also, i disagree to include more small teams as it also decreases interest in the tournament with a lot of one sided matches. Fewer but relatively good teams are better for this tournament.

Indian top most favorite batter in Asia Cup Virat Kohli's inclusion in the Asia Cup is undoubtedly a very good thing for the Indian team but on the other hand Arch-rivals Pakistan are in very good form at the moment, so no team will get off easily against the Pakistan team.

Ireland bowling is really weak at this point, in both pace and spin departments. I really don't know whether they will be able to make use of the home advantage. In all probability they will create a very flat surface, which will be beneficial for their batsmen such as Balbirnie and Stirling. But it can backfire. If Afghanistan bats first, then they will attempt to set up a total of more than 200. Players such as Rashid Khan and Nabi have the experience of being a part of IPL franchises for many years.

I'm not sure whether Afghanistan will be able to win the series by 5-0 or not, but they will win the series for sure. Afghanistan players are more experienced than the Ireland players. The first T20 has started. Afghanistan batsman started slowly, still they scored 47 runs by losing 1 wickets in 6 overs. I have placed a pre-match bet on Afghanistan, the odds was 1.35 for their win. I have lost most of my recent bets on cricket by placing them on Bangladesh, but I'm expecting to win this one today.

If we look at the bowling department of both Ireland and Afghanistan we all have to agree that Afghanistan is way better compared to Ireland. In my opinion, both teams have quite similar batting departments. Another thing is they are going to play T20 matches. In the T20 format, Afghanistan is the better team overall than Ireland. Rashid Khan is a wonderful bowler and we all know how critical leg spinners are for T20. All the bowlers of Afghanistan are variation bowlers. They are going to be very difficult to read for Ireland.
