I would call this an unexpected performance by the Mumbai Indians. When Punjab Kings made 214 runs in thier first innings i thought it was game over for Mumbai Indians as they would not be able to chase this high score. But some good knock by Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav
made it possible.

These days it's pretty hard to predict the winners of the IPL matches and also I see teams chasing down the total successfully which may seem quite difficult to chase.

Depends on the track where the matches are being played. Yesterday's match was played in Mohali, at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium. The pitch offered no assistance to the bowlers. On the other hand, the previous two matches saw teams defending totals of 130 and 126 successfully. And these matches were being played at Ahmedabad and Lucknow. And then we need to agree with the fact that Mumbai Indians do have the capability to chase 200+ totals. They have some of the most destructive batsmen in T20 cricket, including Ishan Kishan, Cameron Green, Suryakumar Yadav, Tim David and Tilak Varma.

I was not happy with rain gods interfering in an important game yesterday, CSK bowlers did a good job in restricting LSG to 125 runs when the rain started pouring like cats & dogs. If the match had been played full then CSK would have been the number 2 team on the point table.

The second match a far better than the first one. Livingstone and Sharma were delivering what every IPL fan wanted to see. The second half was more interesting as we were again able to witness SKY doing what he does best. Rohit was unlucky but Kishan surprised me with his 75 runs in just 41 balls. It seems MI has been lately chasing very well.

The two weakest teams will be playing against each other today. They both are very inconsistent with batting and bowling, Harry Brooks had the fasted century this season but after that, he has been struggling. The only player worth watching today is Riku Singh.

It started with Ishan kishan and the same is continued by SuryaKumar. Further everyone contributed and made it an easy win. Reaching target of 214 runs isn't an easy thing, from the beginning overs Mumbai Indians kept the runrate and made use of few bowlers well to score big and reach the target. Bowling from SRH is completely disappointing.

@noormcs5 you were not alone to believe that MI would lose this game, as I too had thought that MI would lose yet another game but it’s really good to see them win this match in style. Furthermore it’s a good sign for the Indian cricket that Ishan and SKY are performing well but I’m equally worried about Rohit’s form as he’s been really poor so far in this tournament and I hope that he can discover his form soon now.

Rain could robably knock out CSK or LSG out of the playoffs thanks to points being split between them later on. I feel that CSK would have struggled, but would win ultimately against LSG since LSG's bowling isn't the best.

Also, it looks like Punjab will win against MI since Mumbai won't be able to chase 200+ scores everytime. Archer turned out to be a horrible buy for them.

As usual SKY Bhau playing a video game inning and surprisingly Kishan also playing well. Still couple of big hitters Tilak and David are about to come.

The equation is 66 of 36 but at this point, you'd back MI to chase it down in style. No rocket science that wickets are the key for Punjab.

Mumbai Indians win decently today they chased a huge target easily and cleanly   Suryakumar Yadav magic again worked for his team.
Brilliant game by MI , Punjab Kings did their best but balling wise they couldn't stop Suryakumar Yadav.

SKY and Kishan's impressive batting give MI an amazing win on right time with now they have fair chance for standing in top four after few poor matches now SKY is also back in good touch which is good new for the MI and their fans because this performance can give them good results in crucial matches as we have to day target of 214 from PBKS things were looking not good with first over wicket of Rohit Sharma bring more pressure, but youngsters perform as par required of team which is surely amazing after having two low scoring matches mostly were feeling MI will lose, but they have done good job and completely outclass all bowlers of PBKS which is now at the seventh spot of league table and need hard work for better results in coming matches.

surprisingly Pakistan won its 3 match against NZ by 26 runs..
NZ team was a bit disappointed for not being able to win the match - Pakistan has won the series already. Congrats to team Pakistan.

New Zealand worked really hard to tie the T20I series 2-2. Now they have lost the 5-match ODI series, but the margins were close and they were unlucky at times. During the second match, they got to a total of 336/5, but still lost the match after Fakhar Zaman managed to hit 180. But they should look at the positives. They were playing under hostile conditions, against some of the best international players. And they were missing some of their top players including Jamieson, Boult, Ferguson and Williamson. Given all this, they did a decent job so far.

I think this is the first rain interruption match in 2023 IPL season. Chennai could've got one more point, but the rain stopped it. Simply its a lucky day for LSG. The target is just 125 runs and surely Chennai Super Kings would've won the match. In recent days the low scoring targets weren't chased which also need to be considered.

The second match is interesting as both the teams were good enough to score big runs. It looks like an unlucky day, because over the last few matches SRH is performing good and the bowling used to be poor. The match against LSG is a proof. The match against CSK is won finally, inbetween SRH was to win easier. The competence is going high as the team in the 7^th position and 2^nd position have won five matches each after playing ten matches. Lets see who all gonna qualify for the playoff.

Punjab Super Kings is showing a very good performance, if Punjab Super Kings can finish two more overs like this then they will surely collect more than 200 runs. Mumbai Indians will definitely lose to this performance of Punjab Kings today. Both the teams are very strong, also in the points table, Punjab Kings have 10 points and Mumbai Indians have 8 points. Mumbai Indians must have a good fielding and bowling performance, otherwise it will be very difficult for Mumbai Indians to win the way Punjab Kings are accumulating runs.

MI won by 6 wickets Although Punjab Super Kings showed an impressive performance in the match scoring 214 runs seemed difficult. Liam Livingstone played an amazing innings of 82 runs not out in just 42 balls for Punjab Kings and Jitesh Sharma 49 runs gave a tough time to Mumbai Indians. Despite their best efforts Mumbai Indians managed to chase down the target with 6 wickets and 7 balls left. Ishan Kishan excellent performance of 75 runs in just 41 balls earned him the Player of the Match award.

We can never rule Mumbai Indians out. They started the season badly, but are winning literally everything these days. They were losing because Kishan and Sky were out of form, but the sudden change in their form changed the results.

MI and CSK have in the past shown that they can come back and win the tournament. They both have won the trophy multiple times and they might once again in 2023.

I will bet on CSK for this season because they are playing very differently this season. MI might be getting back because they have some of the best batters, who are now able get their momentum back. The one problem that they still have is a good opening bowling pair.

GT cannot be ruled out but LSG after KL Rahul is having a big issue with their opening pair.

It would be really tight contest if MI, Gujrat, CSK and Rajasthan all go in. I believe these teams will provide a tight contest. RCB is another potential candidate, not much confidence in Lucknow.

Having said that, there is always a possibility of upsets when playing with DC, Punjab, SRH, and KKR. We've seen many times how low-rank teams spoil the party for some.

Mumbai Indians currently seem to be improving.
Mumbai Indians have played 9 matches like some others and have 10 points.
But at the same time, LSG and CSK have played 10 matches and got 11 points.

So, Mumbai Indians still have a chance to get ahead of so many teams on the table.
I am a little skeptical about CSK because they have not been able to perform well in recent matches.
They will have to be more consistent to stay toward the top of the table.

SRH currently needs 48 from 35. The required run rate is actually less than the current run rate of SRH. They also have 5 wickets in hand. That should be enough to win for SRH. But the thing is they have just lost a wicket. Probably that will help slow things down a little and KKR will surely want to take advantage of that. But I honestly do not think KKR is going to win. KKR needed at least 20 more to make this match interesting in my opinion.
