I disagree. Rohit and Virat are class performers and it's best to stick to the big guns in such big ICC tournaments. T20 World Cup 2024 is just a couple of months away which is why their selection makes complete sense.

If it was many months away, I would have agreed with you. They just need more luck to go their way in the finals of these big ICC events.

Since the World Cup we have noticed the presence of most of the new players in the India team due to which a question remains in our mind whether Rohit Sharma or Virat Kohli will be selected for the upcoming T20 World Cup. There is no room to think that Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are going to play the next T20 World Cup. Virat Kohli was the highest run-scorer in the 2023 World Cup and he has said that he wants to score the highest runs in the T20 World Cup as well. Maybe young cricketers can bat better aggressively than Virat Kohli or Rohit Sharma but Rohit Sharma or Virat Kohli can bring out a match like other young players can't bring out that match. Experience is always valued and experience performance is what Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are going to play in the upcoming World Cup.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have performed well in World Cup 2023. op I agree with you because the performance of New Zealand against Bangladesh is actually much better than New Zealand. From Test match to ODI match, Bangladesh has performed well. Especially the T20 match against New Zealand, Bangladesh won the first T20 match with a bang. The second T20 match was also in Bangladesh's possession but the match was abandoned due to rain. It would be good for Saim to get a chance to play in the upcoming New Zealand series. This would help him improve as a player and also help the team perform better(may be). CD team vs Otago team game was concluded today and in this game, Will young only Batsman from CD team effort was brilliant in overall game and he scored 101 runs and got century title in 63 balls and he hitted ten 4s and three 6s in 19 th game of Super Smash series. This batsman was also credited to player of game award due to outstanding batting lineup effort. Due to his effort CD team today set very big target and won this game. There are some players who will live forever in the history of Indian cricket and Rohit is one of them. We cannot judge the good and bad of a cricketer by the performance of one match. Rohit and Kohli performed well in the last ODI World Cup matches but in the final match they could not win the match due to some mistakes in their decisions. It is not unusual to do poorly in one match after playing 10 matches. Again, Virat Kohli has few records which are not available among other cricketers. Virat Kohli's form was not good before the last World Cup but even then he was given many chance in series matches because BCCI knows what kind of player Virat is. At start of 15th overs they were 114-5 and by eof 20th 191-6, 77 runs from last 5, almost 14 RPO. Few beautiful cricket shots to watch too, for example the straight drive in 15th over from Neser.

It was day of Neser — brilliant by bat, dismissed Crawley and took hard catch of Josh Inglish.

Scorchers could musher up only 168 by eof their innings and lost to Heat by 23 runs, thereby Heat securing the spot in finals.
