Yepp, agreed - the whole terrorist thing is owerblown. More people die every day in car accidents in the US than from the hands of terrorists. Not to talk about deaths from mixing prescription drugs and alcohol for example. It's good to know that the money is used where they're most needed! That was off topic btw - but unless there can be given proof that the ones with illegal passports on the flight had some shady connections, that's a non issue imo. And a good argument for the plane not landing anywhere is that how could it ever be used again without being spotted, and if it never was used again why take it in the first place? And the most reasonable explanation is that everybody just perished at sea.

Well 'terrorism' is just used as a propaganda tool. The biggest terrorist network in the world is the USG. Apparently it's not terrorism unless you're a Muslim though (or look like you might be one). And a good argument for the plane not landing anywhere is that how could it ever be used again without being spotted, and if it never was used again why take it in the first place?

Yep, exactly, but this sort of logic wont satisfy conspiracy theorists.

And what do you think "weather" is ? Let me help by quoting wiki: "Weather is the state of the atmosphere".
The word stateis the most important one in there. GPS is a receiver. There is no communication in the other direction whatsoever, its a passive device, just like an FM radio.
While GPS is indeed a receiver, in it basic for it is passive, since it was built for the army in a way that when you are in an enemy territory you don't emit a signal and thus you can't be detected, but today there are variants that are Active, not to mention the complementary services that are there track and sent those data back, If I'm not mistaking modern planes are equiped with such device, but I'm not so sure

Nonsense. You clearly have no idea how GPS works. It is 100% passive. There are way to improve GPS accuracy and the time it takes to acquire the signal that rely on cell tower triangulation, A-GPS (which just grabs up to date GPS satellite location data from the network), differential GPS etc, but none of those involve talking to the satellites. GPS satellites simply do not have any capability to receive data beyond control data from the operator, and none of the systems mentioned will work when there is no cell coverage.

Afaik, millitary GPS'es are more accurate than those for civil usage as well.

I think the solution is obvious. We need more witch-doctors! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cwvKXIOwCjcClearly, if a few witch-doctors does not work, we need a whole army of them! That'd solve the problem for sure!!!

I dont think were ever going to find this jet. As the minutes go by were having less and less of a chance.
I really feel bad for the families of all involved. They must be going crazy.

Are you sure that Flight 370 has crashed ? I mean look at the map of Indian Ocean, there is a huge distance from the nearest land. Hard to believe ! I bet all the passenger where revolting if they know they flight until all the fuel was exhausted. What if this was a blitz kidnapping ? What if Flight 370 .. landed ? Where ? In the nearby muslim country..

Since I started this thread I have wondered the same question.. look at the OP. I feel like its possible the plane landed somewhere safely, but if so... why have there been no demands made? no claims of responsibility either! It really is fucked it. It must be in the ocean somewhere though if it did crash. I cant see it crashing on land and no one noticing.

There are many debris on the ocean surface. These can trick satellites. Remember: we are living on a polluted planet. My intention was not to post "yet another April fool's day". I watched the subject at Euronews and CNN and I am really worried. What if you are in the next Flight 370 ? Therefore some answers must be provided in order to avoid such tragedies.

I fly monthly. I am seriously worried about this. So much so that a few days ago I ordered a Breitling emergency mission so if I'm ever in need I can just call for help.

Planes hardly ever crash and how many planes do you know that have gone completely missing like this? 1, 2? Flying is still safer than cars.
