It's not scary as such, it's just really concerning and distressing. Especially as they display the details on some of the passports that they found in the wreckage. You see their full names, faces, date of birth etc, all of which is trackable to social media etc. It's very eerie and upsetting.

While its eerie and upsetting its a good dose of reality and whats going on in the world these days on a daily basis.  I've seen some pretty sickening pics and videos coming from Gaza and the surrounding area which is hardly getting reported by mainstream media.

I think a dose of reality is what this world needs these day.  So many seem to think it's all rainbows and unicorns.

If it was a U.S. plane, all hell would break lose.  I don't think it's probable though.  I was reading a report earlier that planes have been told to avoid that area and to fly around it at all costs.  Sounds like the airline was cutting corners and it cost them.  Next few days are going to be interesting.  Flight 370 goes missing without a trace, this flight gets shot down, the airline has to be on life support at this point.

Yup that's true, but sadly all it does is take attention away from other matters going on in the world. The reality is that people are getting screwed hard all over the world by governments, occupying forces and random militia.

People are slaves to the media, we're all following the latest news through a pinhole. I don't think that showing bodies and personal details on the screen from plane debris is very helpful, but like you say I suppose it does bring us a little closer to the reality of what's going on. Obviously nowhere near as close as the hell those in Gaza and other warzones must be going through on a daily basis.

No way is Malaysia Airlines going to be able to survive after this and MH370. The company hasn't been profitable since 2011, apparently. I feel sorry for them because looking at online reviews and photos, they don't seem like a bad airline.

I woke up this morning to hear news about a Malaysia Airlines plane that had crashed. At first, I thought they were talking about MH370. Like a new development in the search or something. Never would I have imagined that another plane by the same airline would crash in the same year. What a strange and tragic coincidence.
