I thought it will be a huge win for KKR which will help them in improving their NRR but nah just 34 runs after scoring 220+ isn't good.

Winning by 34 runs in a T20 match is big. It means a net run rate of +1.70. And as you can see, now the KKR net run rate is in positive (before this match, it was in negative). But their problem is that even now, SRH is having a much higher net run rate when compared to them. So in case they win the match against KXIP today, then it is almost certain that SRH will go through the playoffs. The remaining matches for SRH are against MI and RCB. I think they can afford to lose one match and still qualify for the playoffs.

KKRs chances are low currently. They need to win every single match going forward and other teams like SRH and KXIP need to keep losing(That won't happen since 1 of them will win today).

Also, SRH has a way better NRR than other teams in this regard.

I agree. Moeen Ali leaving at such a crucial phase certainly did not help them. If they would have played sensibly and built a great partnership, they would have survived, but DC bowling conquered at the end of the day.

DC qualified for the 1st time after 2012. Great for them!

Warner has started out strong for the SRH today, at 134/1 in the 13th over I can see them taking this one without a very strong batting performance from KXIP's openers.

Warner is playing each innings so impressively that his exit is going to prove a big problem for SRH. SRH made 212/6 in and in response Punjab have started well and are 43/1 in 5.4 overs.  Rahul will be the man who can take them closer to this target.

His exit will hurt SRH for sure, but the good thing is that the other batsmen are stepping up at the right time like Manish Pandey, Saha etc which is a plus here. Also, their win against Punjab by a big margin helped boost their NRR in a big way.

All foreign player leaving the league slowly so every team going to be effected by this not only SRH. SRH need one good opener who can replace Warner for couple of match. Saha did his job perfectly in his last inning. positive thing is Manish pandey came back to form in right time and middle order trying to contribute too.

MI looking good, Rohit need to perform from here if they wanna lift the trophy and I guess DC can upset the opponent here as well.

I have little doubt about CSK if they play without Dhoni. Faf and Imran Tahir are leaving the team. and chances are Ambati Raydu going to open with Watson. Ambati's confidence is down badly atm.

I am hoping for good match, both Smith and Kohli hate eachothers on the ground because of their history. but lots of things happened in last year.

Earlier, it didn't mattered because Warner and Bairstow would smash the ball all around the park and win the matches. But now with the weakened batting lineup, they needs to be extra cautious. Sandeep Sharma is proving very expensive and replacing him with Basil Thampi or Billy Stanlake may be a good move.

Even KL Rahul didn't played on that track well but he scored runs which is only good thing for Punjab other than that SRH played really well and their fielding also saved some crucial runs.

I don't really think that replacing Sharma with Thampi or Stanlake would be a great move currently since Sharma has played a lot of matches already which would help while those 2 did not play a single match which could be a problem.

The current bowling lineup is decent, but they need to continue improving with time.

It is raining very heavily in Bengaluru. Looks like the match will be washed out and the points will be shared between RR and RCB. Not much of a concern for the RCB, as they are already out of the next round. But this can mean that RR can never qualify for the playoffs.
