Its not easy to predict when the right time to sell or when we want to buy. Its need technical analysis skill and i think we should learn from books or website. I am agree that if we want to maximizing our profits, timing is important but i think not anyone can do that thing

most of new investors didnt have this skill.so much of them now suffering loss easily.if we prepare ourself with some skill such as technical analysis i am sure we will not suffered huge losses in this market.we understand how to manage the risk by using several technique.

cryptocurrency investment to me now is a risk due to the market issue.i dont even have any interest in investing in any ico due to many reasons

(1) some ico just team up to scam which will be a great loss for investors

(2) After investing with huge amount the ico will still bring loss after listing they might get listed at a very low rate to the ico price

(3) there is no tendency that the ico wont pack off in no time

(4) some ico wont refund the actual amount

 i think with this investing in cryptocurrency in a great risk

You are right. Knowing when to sell and avoiding regretting your actions are key to success in this market. Sometimes you sell and it move up the more. While, sometimes you decide not to sell because of past experience the whole market collapses. So always don't regret.

Well said, but when is the right time to sell? For me, I will set a target price to sell the coins I have invested in. I will hold till the coins reach the target prices and ignore any fuds before the coins reach the target prices. So far, this method work well for me.

a very good point by OP.
i want to add that most newcomers to this market have so little experience in trading in general and they have even less experience in the altcoin market and that is their main source of failure.
what OP is saying comes down to that having or not having the experience. you need to be able to predict the end of the pumps to be able to sell at the right time and take your profit out. otherwise you sell at a loss or worse you end up bag holding and lose all your money.

And that's why those people who got involved in cryptocurrency without knowledge is accumulating a lot of losses because they do not know what they are doing. They only know how to buy but they don't know when to sell their assets to get have great profit.

No body knows what is the exact time to sell,the one who are most successful planned their investment and they will sell when they got enough profits and the people who never be satisfied even if they made huge amount they will be looking for more and more finally they will be in loss,control your greed if you want profits from your investment.

Yes you have spoken well, but the question now is; when is the right time to sell? In my own opinion, once you are in profit, you are free to sell. Waiting for that particular sell order might lead to being trapped, unless there is good updates within the project that will cause more spike in price.
