Looks like stake is occurring, but the total coins I had seems to have dropped anyone else having any issues?

Is there a new client?

still no stake in my mac wallet, but it is connected OK at block 15555. could do with the new wallets soonish.

No stake here, either. Win 7. I woke up to it being about 10 blocks out of sync and refusing to sync. Restarted, restarted minting. Got nothin'.

I think the way it works is that a set amount of coins are taken from your balance and placed in the stake until the mined coin matures after 500 confirmations.

I have close to 350,000 coins currently in stake on more than 100 freshly minted coins. My first one was about to mature (only 3 confirmations away) before things ground to a halt (no more coins being minted and sync issues). I assume there are some node issues or something at the moment. Stuck on block 15332.

same problem . Stopped at block 15086

I solved it by deleting the blockchain and re-synced

Quit the SHACoin-qt client

Open your data directory (i.e. on Win7 C:\Users\<you>\AppData\Roaming\SHACoin) and delete everything except your wallet.dat and your peers.dat file.

Launch the SHACoin-qt client. Let it re-sync. Problem should be gone.

Well it looks like I have been fucked out of around 200,000 sha coins.

Beware folks, it is not all rosy. Apparently your staked coins can be forfeited if the mined coin is not accepted by the block chain. I have 77 mined blocks that were not accepted by the block chain after re-syncing. All I have to say now is fuck this coin. I did not know I would have to gamble 500-3000+ coins on each minted coin which only give payouts of 2-35 coins per block.

This is ridiculous to lose so many coins in one go like this for a hope of a pittance in return.

Time to stop minting I think.  Angry

Here is an example of the excuse you get.

Quote
Status: 0/unconfirmed
Date: 3/26/2014 04:01
Debit: 0.00 SHA
Net amount: -4805.359485 SHA
Transaction ID: f467c57ce87d18cc14ccb7693f5c748003ef36282ded65675fad8163cb341c40

Generated coins must mature 30 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours.

4805 coins lost for a 30 coin payout.

I have 77 more of these.

You are not the only one getting these, but it's just an illusion.

I believe for some reason minting nodes get isolated / forked from the chain and start generating minted blocks in series because they're the only one having stake when they're isolated. But the rest of the network won't accept these blocks as the chains cannot be reconciled.

Look at the block height of your minted blocks. Most likely they are coming in series one after the other, and from that point, your client forked from the main chain. That's what I can observe on my side.

This is most likely due to bugs and devs should work on it

I would wait for the new wallet release! If you are getting out of SHA coin. Would you be willing to sell what you have? XD

The fact that over 200k in SHA coin is gone from my wallet is not an illusion. Will they be returned ?

What about the blocks that are being mined now ? I have more than 20+ since the re-sync. What about if it happens again ?

I have turned of the minting for now until we find out what has happened.

Not looking good at the moment though.
