Everyone send him an email. He needs to know it's not up to one person to do all the work here. There's too much time to invest if you have a life outside of this.
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Also not happy about the fact that he has logged in (Last Active: Today at 02:40:33 PM) and has not addressed this yet.

Seriously losing all confidence in this coin.

I know. it's hard to have patience in the crypto world with how quickly everything moves. But if we can get this working soon we will be the first POS where you actually acquire interest. Not like the random 1% black coin or the impossible nxt.

Still not cool to trap miners without a working wallet while some can dump. To many games with coins anymore.
then if you do everything right and did well mining the exchanges gox you.
this is killing crypto. it's getting to not be worth all the equipment and time.

no one is dumping anything. All Coin is the only one still trading and there isn't any volume on that site anyway. If there is ever any dumping going on its always from miners that have no desire for a coin except to gain btc. Just mine btc or buy it if that's what you want. There is no way a POW coin will work in the long run if miners just rape the alt coins to gain btc.

I was going to say where is the dump going on, 3 of us have disabled the coin until a fix is upon us.  I'd be nervous if i was allcoin and allowing this dump to happen, may be getting junk coins ^_^

It's very little to no volume. Probably just children with coins on the site worried about 10 bucks. They aren't accepting deposits right now.

CryptoALTeX, bittrex and Cryptokk have all disabled withdraw/deposit from being credited to accounts on exchanges.  This was to prevent the possibility that we could be on separate chains, thus allowing trades to happen with coins that may or may not be legit when the sync issues are fixed.

gotcha, didn't realise you ran an exchange - i miss stuff on threads a bit and work like a dog so i'm too tired to run back over stuff i've missed.
I can say that I have drawn up a long term plan and submitted it to the dev, as long as he can sort out the teething problems, I still think SHA will have legs to run; in time.
thanks for playing your part in making sure the miners coins are safe.

Sounds like another typical "coin dev."

Step 1:  Download <insertname>coin source code from GitHub
Step 2:  Change some parameters, update qt interface
Step 3:  Post on BCT and distribute coin
Step 4:  Pray nothing breaks and actually requires real programming skill to fix, because you don't know WTF you're doing

You may be right. How the he'll are we supposed to know? The coin is out and the release was decent and fair. The idea is good and so is the timing. There are many people here who can repair code. Maybe he died.

I didn't think that it would be possible to mine this coin once the initial mining period was over. Why are people still mining this and getting rewarded for it?

if that's true he's retarded cuz he would have got more just mining something else. The price never got to the point of profitable really.
