I have mined 165 blocks and counting in just over one hour. Close to 700,000k in my stake. Still more balance left to go. Wink

now we know who can control the price. Grin

Grin

On a side note:

In all the commotion I just realized that I have not updated my wallet yet. I just did the repair to the old one and re-synced. I am afraid to touch it now with all the staked coins. Smiley

I replaced wallet with staked coins without any problem.

so how many gajillion coins do you have to have to get a stake? I'm not gonna blast all four cores mining to MAYBE have it get something every few weeks. I spent a fair amount of electricity to run this failed experiment. If 89k coins is not enough to generate a stake, then what's the point?

You will use hardly any cpu power. I am showing very minimal use in the 0.x% range.

If anyone has complaints about the POS being unfair or small. Check out the rest of the pos coins in effect right now. They work the same if they work at all and our stake is far greater right now  than any others. This is actually quite special at the moment.

I have just under 39k coins and they have minted skate three times so far 70.323972, 4.230821 and 3.39726 are the minted coins from the stake. You don't need to mine just keep your wallet open.

The first batch is almost done

Status: 29 confirmations, broadcast through 3 nodes
Date: 3/28/2014 17:38
Debit: 0.00 SHA
Net amount: -10000.00 SHA
Transaction ID: c60ec28600bcebe907733d511cf25bce1ca09e1047c3d9dc9afa273573dea8df

Generated coins must mature 30 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours.

We need the word out quickly on this to let people know that they can get in very cheap and almost be mining from next to no cpu power.

dont be in a hurry. new wallet still not good.

1. need add SHACoind.exe to the v1.1.0 zip file.(forgot?)
2. need unlock wallet button.
3. need button like BC(a visible way to show when you are staking)

You dont have to. Open wallet once a week and check stake. If appear - wait for completed. The beauty of this thing is offline minting also Smiley

I have exactly 89254.318478 SHA. This number has not changed ONCE since my last mining payout. All but maybe the last 100 coins are eligible for stake. My wallet has been unlocked and active the entire time, except for resyncing 8 times, for a total loss of maybe twenty minutes. It hasn't staked, it hasn't twitched. I've now tried the shacoin.conf as recommended, still nothing. I've tried setgenerate true, all I did was heat up my cpu. HOW THE FUCK are you getting stake with 1/3rd of the coins I have? Not yelling at you, I'm just frustrated as hell. This shit apparently only works for some people.

My coins are for sale. I might as well get something out of this. It has obviously chosen to NOT honor my stake. It would be nice to know how that works, I could possibly game it.

It was not advertised as random. It was not sold as if it was going to be a gamble whether or not it would work depending on who you are. No hint of such mechanism was ever expressed. If I want to gamble, I'll gamble. If I want to mine, I'll mine. If I want a stake, then I expect the terms of the stake to mean what they say.

Two days of NOT mining bitcoin for a coin that clearly is broken isn't something that inspires me to relax. I'm pissed, and I won't pretend I'm not. As noted above, people with 1/3 of my coins are generating stake. I'm not. It's a load of shit no matter how you look at it.

Again, anybody who thinks this is worth something, PM me. I'll sell my coins. If I don't get any takers in the next day or two, your coins will become more valuable by 89k when I delete the wallet.

To the dev: Thanks a lot for wasting my time. Don't post specs you don't mean.

Well, that makes it official. It doesn't stake for me, and obviously never will. I have done EVERYTHING that I'm supposed to, and generate no stake. Yet you get it with 3k. Thats what, 3 %?
