I agree, this coin is too important to let die.  This coin has huge potential.  The dev is clearly not interested in this coin anymore.  Maybe its time to set up a bounty for someone to fix the wallet and implement the same security updates all the other pow/pos coins have done recently.
agreed. I'm willing to put up all my pos I get till this is taken care of.

Happy to donate my POS (around 10k) to the cause as well.

this coin is too important to let die... will someone please take the wallet to the hospital and fix it? pleeeeease?

I like this one..  Mined it almost all 10 days..  Have or had (really have no idea anymore) 500K SHA..  Now my wallet is just hung constantly..

Would suck to write it off, but not sure what to do... Been f'd up for weeks now.. Sad

I mined Maza early too, that worked out really nicely..  But then I mined V and SHA.. Both have been really a disaster..

Hoping either they fixed or BonusCoin works out long term as it's my new favorite...

The worst part of this coin is the Dev. This coin needs to be taken by professional team. Any suggestions?

So would the dev have to just have to give up the code? How would this go?

Something I thought would be awesome for altcoins in general. Instead of an exchange like all the other generic exchanges out there what about a website that is something like Pokerstars.net or one of those other higher quality texas holdem site. You create an account, and like the exchanges you have a balance tab where you can deposit any amount of any different types of coins, then you go find a poker table where others are gambling a specific coin you are gambling. The site gets something like 0.1% of table winnings and charges 0.3% on withdrawals. While you are waiting for a game to start if by chance the coin you want to play texas holdem with is not too popular there could be a lobby screen setup where you can chat and maybe waste a few coins in digital slot machines. The idea can be expanded from there, but I think its a cool one and Id be there all the time playing texas holdem. If i had the programming skills and time to develope it I would. There are two big standouts here, one it is for more then one type of altcoin and 2 right now they only coins you can play poker with other people with online are btc and ltc.
I love to hear ideas on these forums. It moves the conversation away from the moon crap. We need more of this mixed with people that have the ability to move it forward.  That's what builds value to an altcoin, good job.
This idea kept me awake in bed last night. I have the images in my head, the lobby, user account page with balances, the poker room with table selection and the tables, hard to get them out of my head though. I also work full time 7-5 and have to chase 3 kids around in the evenings so also hard to find time. I envision something like Pokerstars.net or fulltilt poker for the tables

I will also contribute 10K SHA towards a bounty for someone to fix wallet.

@BryceWeiner on twitter... petrodollar dev.

The source is available on github, check the OP.  Everyone in the community, users, pools, exchanges would just need to run the updated client.

Its obvious  the community around this coin want it to more forward.  In fairness to the dev we should give him the opportunity to respond to the community outcry.

So, dev, if your reading this can you please respond.  Will you continue to develop this coin, or do we seek a new developer?

Yes he should have a chance to redeem himself, but he shouldn't get long, if this was my baby I wouldn't let this go on when people are investing in me. Won't he have to release access to the code so changes can be made in the future if problems arise?

My project is ready to roll. It can bring hundreds or even thousands new Shacoin wallet holders. However, I can't start till the wallet issue is not resolved. I emailed to Dev about my plans, but he even hasn't responded. We need a serious person as a leader or this coin will die and I will be forced to run my project using other coin.

Man that is fantastic.  Hold on we will get this figured out. As soon as the dev gets back here. I have been sending him messages and emails all the time. He can't avoid this forever.  And really if we can just compile a new wallet for him we would be on the right track.

We should set a deadline for the dev to respond to our problems. 3 days? 1 week?

It will have been just under a week if we don't hear from the developer in 3 days. Waiting any longer and the coin will be dead.

coin needs a fix, not a response.
