What you have bought online was a presale token (ERC1155) which you can use later to exchange for a real unique NFT Crypto Stamp (ERC721). Exchange will be randomly from a pool. Unique NFT will have its unique ID and color again. The official launch will be in late June (25th?).
Like Crypto Stamp 1.0 (CS1) the animals will have 5 colours again. Again recent sales are only pre-sales.

on their presale homepage: "You will receive presale tokens that can be exchanged for active tokens after the official launch of Crypto stamp 2.0. The physical stamps will then be sent out to customers from this point. Each animal motif will have a print run of 60.000 stamps, whereby every animal has the same value. A maximum of 2.500 stamps per animal motif can be purchased onchain in the presale period."

you say that each animal has 5 colors?
for example the Doge has 5 different colors?

I’m curious to see if they’ve kept the color/rarity in sync with CS 1.0.
Ended up getting 5 of each, we’ll see how it plays out. Smiley

They mentioned it shortly at Anon Summit (Austrian Blockchan summit) that there will be same 5 digital colors.

2,5k pre-sale tokens for each animal (for redeeming the OnChain Crypto Stamp later, title 10k) have been sold.
If you miss pre-sale for OCS, another total 10k real OCS will be available with launch date at the main sale.
So in total, we will have 20k OnChain Crypto Stamp version and 220k normal Crypto Stamp.

The cryptostamp was presented this year at the ANON Summit.
For all of you who want to hear it in german (or english subtitles) here is a video of it now.
You will surely find some interesting background information about the stamps.

I watched the slightly cringeworthy Austrian crypto stamp discussion 2:54:00 onward.
There is no mention of five colours or rarities from the officials at all.
However they interview an Austrian customer (the girl Julia) and she said she would hope for more diversity in rarity. Something along the lines „five rare colours is nice [v1] but there is a lot potential for more variety in v2“. The interview seemed kinda staged, so we could hope that they included it to hint that there will be indeed a rare aspect like in cs1 again or even better.
But it doesn‘t seem certain to me, at all. So until we have confirmation on the chain or from officials, this is all just speculation.

Get educated about Bitcoin. Check out Andreas Antonopoulos on Youtube. An old but gold talk: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rc744Z9IjhY

UPDATE 2024: Daniel Schmachtenberger on The Meta-Crisis: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSx8j8lSewA Important talk about the current state of this planet and human society in general.

Yeah it's funny how some people are CERTAIN that there are rarities again but nobody got a real source. Even in the source(??) video the don't say it.

Ah, when you said online I thought you meant the physical. When I purchased, I did not realize there was any other way to buy them. Sorry for the confusion.
