[INFO]-Crypto Stamps- Collectable Blockchain postage stamps

Think the stamps are used as a wallet or for crypto exchange at the Croatian Post Office - or I could be very wrong   My Croatian is non- existent  

Sent you a PM before reading trough this thread. I don't see a connection between the stamps and the service our post provides. It is simple crypo-fiat exchange in collaboration with our local online crypto exchange.

I guess the stamps are used as a sort of advertisement to give people notice that we have that sort of service in Croatia. I used the service once and it worked like any other exchange, did not even know there were stamps.

Quick update from Trofo -re: the Croatian stamps -  had a PM from him last night

I did it just to have two that were not the same lol - I saw people do them with the CS2 stamps as well.

 Speaking as a person who has collected stamps for the past 40 years, I always want a stamp that is mint and also a stamp that has been used.

 When it comes to CTO, the cancel is fancier sometimes and also neater. Where as if it goes thru the postal system, the postal cancel can cover the face of the stamp.

 But out of the CTO or the cancel going thru the postal system, I prefer the normal usage as it has been genuinely used. And this is reflected in most stamp catalogs.

(CTO) stamps cancelled with intention of being used for postage. Often countries will cancel their stamps before selling to discount brokers to insure that the stamps will not be ultimately used for postage. CTO stamps are less desirable than mint stamps or stamps that have been cancelled in the order use for postage

Do you mean the presale token? If yes, you can go to https://crypto.post.at/onchainshop/ with connected wallet, where the presale tokens are. Then you should see a checkbox for redeeming presale stamps. on the bottom you can choose the destination (wallet or collection). The "Use Safe Gas Estimation" can be really high, but normally it should be much less.

Croatian stamps (Update):

There is also a shop where you can purchase the first 500 stamps with crypto only payments (Bitcoin, Ether, Ripple, DAI, Stellar). The advantage is that they send you the NFT to your ETH addy (and THEY cover all the tx fees). The disadvantage is that you can buy 1 stamp per order (and hence, if you are planning to get more, you have to pay for shipping fees per order) . Site is also in English and well documented (there is also a FAQ section).

I like the way they implemented the distribution of the tokens.

"The shop is presented by a picture which is divided on the of 500 tiles. Each tile is assigned with a stamp, which are pre-randomized. You can only find out which Tier and serial number is assigned to the square once you complete your purchase. Grayscale tiles are available for purchase. Colored ones are already purchased."

If you purchase the stamp from the normal on-line EPOSTSHOP (with dirty old fiat), then you have to pay for the ETH tx fees for transferring the digital token to your ETH addy (once the physical stamps arrive).

For the EpostShop, there is a flat rate shipping fee (32 HRK / 4€ / $5) regardless of the number of stamps in your basket during the checkout (same shipping fees for the crypto shop). Further, for EU residents they also calculate (and add) extra VAT during checkout.
