Finaly go back to ghash.io On eligius.st, i have to wait 13 blocks found to be paid, so about 2 days. On BTC guild, i have to pay fee. On ghash.io, i'm instantly paid with no fee. This explain why everybody [who cannot see a forest behind the trees] mine on ghash.io !
enjoy $650 to $560 trip for your BTC, courtesy of ghash controversy...

They aren't losing money, extra hashing power from users is just an help to raise hashrate an find more block/try to maximize earnings with luck periods.

Looks like Bitmain are doing better with the shipping issues at last ... received an S2 yesterday ... and that holding plate over the blades did the trick. Hashed straight out of the box. However, later I noticed that the intake fan for the PSU wasn't working ... investigation showed the connector had come away from the board. Now the holding plate is a good idea ... but there were a lot of screws to remove just to plug it back in!

I think Bitmain needs to have a talk with some of his assemblers-it looks like 1-2 connectors are not firmly attached (until it clicks!) in almost every machine. Mine had two totally out. A minor thing, but as you said-you have to unscrew a bunch of screws and also move some board to get to the pesky connectors.

If you have ever looked inside of a Dell computer you will now know why they have the click locking tabs on their fan to motherboard connectors.

Oh crap, my batch 2 AntMiner S2 stopped working today, after 3 months of solid service.
We had a power outage, and after the power came back on the S2 was "dead". It wouldn't power on at all. I replaced the Enermax 1000W PSU with a Corsair AX1200i and the unit now powers up, but nothing shows on the LED screen and the unit doesn't register on the network. I know what the MAC address of the unit is and it doesn't show up on the network. I have tried two different micro-SD cards, neither of them work.
Not happy. Sent an email to Bitmain, hopefully they can help me out.

Do they use standard Beaglebone Blacks? Perhaps you could try replacing that. I stocked up on spare WR703N's and rPi's for my (former) Avalons and BitFury rigs and had to replace a few over time. Maybe I should buy some BB's too.

No, one coupon per miner in the order. So if you have 3 coupons you have to have either three separate orders or one order with three items in it.
